The video shows what they are around the 1:10 mark or so. One is an artificial sweetener and the other is one that has a bitter taste. The most bitter taste known to man. It's Denatonium Benzoate, otherwise known as Bitrex. It's often put into household, garden and automotive products to ensure that if a child or animal ever tried to swallow it, they would spit it straight out before they could be poisoned. Both are completely harmless.
kyo adam it dose because if you block the other valve you only have one way to breath or for example you are in a area with lots of dust the second one gives extra protection.

Instead of doing a taste test with sugar water, try it with Tabasco Sauce. The victim will taste it in 1 squeeze

It's all legal stuff to protect the employer, and the mask manufacturer. Meanwhile, workers aren't allowed to wear respirators when they should.
If you know this then you have to the right to report it. If you don't and something happens you are also reliable

Don’t worry everyone says a loose fitting surgical mask or home made floral print mask is just as good! Just ask Fauci or the cdc or NIH or Biden ….
