But there is need to dicentralize borehole supervision and monitoring, under the ministry of health we the Environmental Health practitioners conduct routine sanitation survey of water point in the rural part of Zambia, local authorities can not be everywhere, hence we need this skill also.. In my catchment area we have a lot of boreholes which have become dry, and are now white elephants, for the country to reduce wasting resources critical supervision is essential..
