in my place, whenever its raining seasons, its rains ALOT, there is gallons upon gallons being wasted though storm drains and water prices are high, stupid plastic jojo tanks are like 3000 rand to 20 thousand, the people who clean our water literally just sell rain water aswell as maybe our water we bought. were considering getting jojo tanks because water prices are ridiculously high and it rains alot in those raining seasons,

@@peppermeat8059 In my place it's the same thing too. Some politicians about 10 years ago wanted to build more water dams, more water system to collect the rain water and water treatment facility. However ONE DUDE and his group of people dislike the idea. He rather spend THE PEOPLE'S MONEY on funding illegal Mexicans to generate votes so his party stay in control. Anybody who spoke up about it..that person is declare a racist and a free loader. So here we are..dumping one third of the water INTO THE OCEAN, one third into the lakes or rivers and the other one third is divided among the state, county, city and to farmers. Also he made it illegal for farmers, counties and cities to build their own water dams or system or something to contain waters.

Coming from someone who has cousins in a village that relies on untreated river water that sometimes dries up, I can absolutely relate to the joy the kids express.

@@PROVOCATEURSK The parents drank the same water from childhood. It's a failure of government to improve the living condition of its people since independence. I think they're pretty adapted to the water though even if they deserve better

As a Kenyan too who left there 10 years ago I’m great full that one man literally from abroad can see our people’s problems and solve them but the government of the day doesn’t solve any of those problems just corruption and taxing the poor.

Growing up in a village that suffered from a chronic lack of water, I can totally relate to the joy that the people of Budalangi will feel when they get access to clean water. It's not easy to walk for miles and miles just to get clean water, but your project will change all of that.

I am from Bangladesh and 2/3rd of our entire country is under water. We are a small country with somewhat more than 700 small and large rivers draining from himalayas into Bay of bengal, the largest bay on earth. And Despite all water can still be dirty and murky. So most of the time it's not availability of water but rather how you can have access to a cleaner version of it.

This restores some faith in humanity. Those kids are having a great time messing with the water - something a lot of us take for granted, but it’s humbling to think that so many people don’t have access to such a basic human need.

Thanks for doing this Zack! This reminds me of my village back in India, where the village committee installed a high tower tank connected to the bored well. This was done to help the people living under poverty since rest of the village already had supply to water. I was only 4 when that happened and did not get to see the smiles it brought to my village but it is great to see the smiles in the video.

It’s amazing to see the joy of simply having a hose with running water and being able to spray your friends with it and laugh. Got me tearing up thinking about how it’s probably the first time for any of them to experience that and we have a hose in every yard here in America. This will positively impact this community for decades to come love it!!!

It almost brings a tear to my eye, seeing those kids go so crazy for water, something for us in the first world have access to without even thinking about it. We forget how fortunate we are.
Fortunate? The west allowed commies to take over half of Europe for 40 years. People suffered immensely while commies were building infrastructure. Now we are paying for that infrastructure.

My friend tried to lead a project to hand dig a well in Africa which was very feasible but the local had no interest and just wanted someone to come do it for them. The rest of the world was built by people doing hard things and I don’t know if it’s beneficial (in the long run) to do things like this. It’s a nice thing to do but good intentions can lead to poor outcomes.

As a Kenyan this is very good very impressive you have such a big heart as so many trees have been cut in the mountainous central region with the forests causing the shortage of rain the rivers to dry out which source their water from there and even after the long drought the government does not do anything I thank you very much for helping my country even though I don't live in the region .
