I just learned that Jan E. Newman was a mission president in The Nebraska Omaha mission! That's awesome! I served there from 1999 to 2001 under Gary & Christina Pocock and Mike & Paula Rowe. What a fantastic mission!
Sad to say that I wasn’t expecting much from this talk, but man was I wrong. So many valuable insights, the most significant being where my focus should lie: the Lord, my family, and my work. Thank you, Brother Newman!
Thanks. I can totally relate to his story about hunting and time with family, etc. As an outdoorsman, too had several revelatory experiences on fishing and hunting trips; that family and faith come first.
Superb wisdom... A great talk inspired by Divinity. I'll be returning to this over an over most def. I also love the Dead "See" scroll analogy... the whole world needs to wake up from it.
Wow, I'm so happy I was able to listen to this talk. I've just started school again and I've been pretty overwhelmed with my schedule. I'm grateful for his counsel in propritizing our time as well as social media. I will definitely try to apply Nelson's celestial advice.
Thank you Brother Newman 😌
Change and improvement is built into your DNA, wow!!

I served there too in 2005. Pres. Newman and Sis. Newman were wonderful.
