Meanwhile the homeless population in Charlotte is at a all time high.😢😢😢
We could build grandstands to watch them too but it wouldn't bring in much additional revenue unless you formed a whole new sport around it but that could be seen as rude.
The crime rate is stupid out of control.Tepper needs to sale and leave he sux.
Hopefully new coaching better stadium improves moral..
Al be damn
Every single Charlottean just gave a billionaire $724. Each. For a stadium where it costs a fortune to go and see anything. Meanwhile the airport still isn’t finished, I-485 and 77 are gridlocked expensive toll roads, infrastructure hasn’t kept up with population growth, and Matthews just had the light rail cancelled for a bus service. $625,000,000 in the hope he’ll keep his terrible football team here for 20 years (and nothing in writing to guarantee that). The Glazers did the same to Tampa 28 years ago and residents there are still paying for it.
NGL what councilwoman Brown said was funny as hell.
Bad move by city. While Tepper pulled out of a project. What is he putting up.
Ditch the Panthers its a failed organization.
Stick with Charlotte FC a team that actually plays good and wins.
With 650 million will the stadium be anywhere like Mercedes Benz stadium or SoFi also will it have capability to remove the pitch for different events. I want grass for Charlotte FC
Lol... You're joking right? The whole point is the bring in literal billion$ more in revenue than the initial investment. There would be no profit or benefit to local business to invest in something no one watches like soccer. There isn't even any land that is worth wasting on such a project much less the money it would take. Just be grateful yall have a field to play on that is within city limits and has a hotdog stand.
If you want a fancy grass field and seating for more than 3,000 people then start turning a profit along with filling local hotel rooms & restaurants at a noticeable rate.
No disrespect to my team but that upgrade looks 🗑️ a upgrade bank of America stadium with canopy or hell I can't believe I'm saying but a retractable roof
Football team trash 🗑️
