Nice Rig. I have the RCI roof rack also. I like how the wind fairing integrates with the roof. I found that “Chelhead” 7inch amber light bars from Amazon mounted upside down fit pretty well as chase lights on the inner openings of the rear crossbar for a lower profile look.
Such a badass build! This is an inspiration for when I start building my 5th gen! The new 4Runner, Tacoma and Tundra won’t last like these will. They look great but Toyota really dropped the ball on their engine choices IMO.
I have to ask.. How can you run 38s with long travel and not have the tire slam the top of the fender well? I have 295/70/17s and my tires slam my upper factory fender well before my bump stops hit. The only way I foresee fixing this issue is cutting all of it out, relocating everything and tubing the fenderwell..
That would be the coil spring I run, they’re rated at 700lb so the ride is a bit stiffer but it keeps everything up, bypass shocks also help a lot. I’ve personally never have had the tire slam up into the fender , even fully flexed
Also with my long travel kit being a + 5, it doesn’t go anywhere near the inner fender line, it completely clears. Even a 3.5 kit will clear but you’ll still get slight rub. Perks of long travel is your wider
@@MAMMOTH4RUNNER Yeah, I have the camburg 3.5" LT kit with 1" spacers. 82" track width. My tires don't clear the fender well and rub under full bump. I have the same 700lb springs as you and fox bypasses with stiffer valving.
I wish I had as nice things to say about AlphaRex. I got their taillights and one of them would just randomly decide to not work. Had it go completely out some times, other times the “DRL” would be on but the brake light and blinker would not work. One time it went out except for the brake light which decided to be amber at that time. I contacted AlphaRex and they proceeded to give me the runaround for almost a year. They’d ask questions they already had the answers to, ask completely unrelated questions, questions they’d already asked, and several times would just flat out ignore my attempts to contact them. I ended up having to report them to the Better Business Bureau (which has them with an F rating last I checked) and only then did they finally send me a replacement set, about 10 months after I initially contacted them. The new light got to me and I installed it and the reverse and brake lights are noticeably dimmer than the other side’s light. Absolute garbage customer service and quality control, would expect better for $500+ tail lights. Anyway, rant over. Still love your rig, man
Hey man love ur build! Has to be the sickest runner out there. Starting on my 2nd 4runner build. Love those TSO sliders. Not sure if u will see this but did u have any trouble getting in touch with them about their sliders. Wanting to order some but wanna find out the lead time. Messaged them on fb, emails, called them and the number is disconnected and on Google maps says they are permanently closed. Just didn't know if u knew what was going on with them. Thanks!
@MAMMOTH4RUNNER OK thanks! I reached out to them again after a while and they said they aren't taking orders right now even though I was able to add it to my cart and go through the checkout process on their website which was weird. Didn't order any cause it seemed strange. So I asked them when they might be in taking orders in the future and they never got back to me. But yeah if u find out anything let me know. Thank u sir.
I’m already high enough, not a fan of the portals, rather keep my height I currently am and 3-link the rear.. cant beat that suspension set up mixed with front long travel. Portals are great and all if you just want to lift the truck and throw big tires on, I want to flex at all the right angles lol
The Spiderman car seat, epic!

It feels like it’s been forever since a walkthrough
Been following since day one, inspired my own build. Keep up the great work man!
Hell yeah thanks man I appreciate it🙏
What a killer, 4Runner, bro! This is just so freaking sick! You're right they are a Money Pit 💰 lol
Nice build. Would you still recommend Nguyenworks rear bumper w/ tow hitch for 4Runner owners planning to tow a teardrop trailer?
Definitely
Bad Ass Mammoth T4R!!!
At least we have the same phone mount from offroam 😂 my 4runner can be happy now
It’s such a great mount! I completely forgot to mention it too 😂
@@MAMMOTH4RUNNER I love this mount, I was looking for a no drill option and that was the best one I found, rock solid.
Can a five gallon bucket fit under the front axles? Just wondering if those sweet 38s would clear it.
My true love , Really a Beast❤🔥

@@coldie5445 yeah idk my +5 kit clears it, most people are running 3.5 kits
@@MAMMOTH4RUNNER I need to install an air bump and that'll solve my issue. There just isn't much room with the bypass there
Are you running a stock rear axle? Just curious how it holds up with 38s
I am, and it’s risky. But so far so good
Thanks!! Good to know planning on 35’s next maybe 37’s down the line..@@MAMMOTH4RUNNER
Jesus this is getting ridiculous 😂, nice build bro…..😎…..I’d add a pro emblem as well
Incredible 4runner! The rear axle will be a great upgrade. Plans on supercharger?
No plans on the super charger at the moment.. then again I’ve surprised myself before 😂
What's the purpose of the little spacer between the spindle and lower ball joint?
That’s an ABS shield/ skid to protect it
Bro I get a lot of shit because I bought a Tacoma TRD sport and I put the off road stickers on Little do they know I’m locked front and rear.
😂😂😂

no chopping.. look into portals for the 4walker ;)
