Honest reviews matter... thank you for keeping it real!
Thanks for watching! I had a little advise about doing sponsored reviews lol.
Great review. I have some led strips to go behind my new fender liners
Thanks! I can't wait to see those.
I just got one, works great! For the money, I recommend the product.
I was surprised with this as well, mine is still working fine. I do recommend sealing the ends yourself though. Thanks for watching!
Time will tell.
Do you use a mic for your videos? Your audio quality is fantastic.
Yep, it is a Saramonic SR-WM4C Wireless mic system. I got it in a recording bundle from amazon. Thanks for watching!
Your video review is very well done and honest. Thanks. I've been doing a ton of research on light bars for my 2007 Silverado and finding a brand that seems dependable long term is really sketchy I'm discovering. When I say long term I'm meaning at least two years before you have to relace. I understand all the brands out there are after market and real auto dealers don't want to get into this market. Some of these companies invest more in marketing and make their stuff look awesome but when you start drilling down into actual long term reviews the expensive ones seem to be the worst. I'm rambling but this one seems to be coming up with the best reviews overall long term . What are your thoughts now that it's been a while? Any other issues? I'm thinking I'm going to go with this one so far. Thanks!
I am really surprised with this product, it is still on the Liberty as we speak and it still works just as it did when I installed it. I can't remember if I show it in the video, but I actually cut this light to make it shorter and it still works! This company has sent me a TON of other stuff to review and to be honest, non of it has held up like this light. I know just about all the companies that sell these lights get them from just a few different manufactures and "re-brand" them as their own. I don't know which one they chose, but it was a good one. Unlike some of their other stuff as I said. Thanks for watching!
@@RockyXTV Thanks for the fast reply. I'm going to order one. I will follow your advice on sealing it with silicone also to help waterproof it. I'll let you know how it plays out on mine. Thanks again!
@@RockyXTV Well, I installed the light bar on my 2007 Silverado about a week ago . I did silicone the ends as recommended and it has rained all weekend here and it still works great. Easy install and brighter than I had expected. For the monet this is hard to beat. Thanks for the review.
Glad it worked out well for you!
What are the best two tailgate light bars in your opinion....thanks
love the new intro
Thanks!
i have the same tail gate led and i have the same connector in to my truck but when i connected only half of the led strip turn on the first time i think the tailgate led i get was the problem the seller return my money and get other one but the same problem only half of the led turn on and only one turn light works do you know what s could be the problem
This could be an issue with your plug or its wiring, it sounds like one pin of your plug isn't getting power. Do you have a test light or multi-meter to check for power?
Yes , i test every wire and i think the harness wire is the problem ,thanks ,i dont know how to fix so i get wait for a video to do it
So it has been 7 months or so since you installed this product. How is it holding up? Any lights burnt out, ect? If I purchase this for my 2010 F150 is there any words of advice besides maybe adding silicone the ends to make better seal?
Wow, I didn't realize it has been that long already. It is still working fine, no burnt out LED's or water inside. I don't know if I said it in the video or if I found out after the fact, but the 3M tape on this is not real 3M (I think) so I ended up having some adhesion issues, but I didn't install it on a completely flat surface either so that could have been part of the problem. My advise would be like you said, pull the plastic end caps off and add some silicone and maybe add some dielectric grease to the trailer plug (if that's how you are installing it) This will prevent any corrosion inside the plug that normally happens and causes a bad connection, you can get it at any auto parts store, most of the time on the counter in little packets. Thanks for watching and if you haven't yet, don't forget to subscribe to keep up on all the new videos! Let me know how it turns out if you get one, thanks again!
Wow!! That was a quick response!! Thanks, I am planning on buying one so maybe using the same silicone to adhere it to the truck body as well might be a good idea then?
You could definitely give that a try, I think that would be better than using something like epoxy or glue because some of those could damage your paint. Silicone would just peal right off if you needed it to, great idea!
Do you think you can attach it to the outside taillight frames because I was concerned about it not sticking to the plastic covers
Great video. I know you made this video a few years ago. I just bought these lights and I wanted to know how you were able to cut the LED's . I bought 60inch but I think it will be too big. Also, are these still working for you?
This light is still working. When you go to cut this strip, look for the little copper dots (you'll see what I'm talking about) Cut on those dots and you'll be fine. Just be sure to take the end cap from the piece you cut and install it on your new cut end with some sealant. I hope this helps you out, thanks for watching!
can somebody please tell me how wide it is? I know is 60 inc longer but i wanna now the wide
Just off the top of my head I think it was an inch or inch & a half. The Renegade isn't here at the shop at the moment so I can't go measure right now. Thanks for watching!
Plugging this into my trailer outlet just disconnected all of my parking sensors.
That’s what most modern cars do so it doesn’t beep when you have a trailer
What ... drop everything?
Not sure what the question is here.... Thanks for watching though!
That condensation will rust the tracks real shame.
That is the first thing I thought when I saw that condensation. I cut it down to fit the Liberty and sealed the ends myself so I shouldn't have that issue, key work "shouldn't". I was still surprised that after 30min underwater it only got a little condensation inside, now if this thing was like $50-$100 I would be pretty upset. For the price of this light I was pretty surprised, now it's just a waiting game to see if it lasts, then I'll be impressed! Thanks for commenting and watching!
What are you going to with Them lights
The light strip in the video? It's on the Liberty right now.
send that shit back. The company is a huge fail they refuse to even answer when it comes to the warranty yet broadcast how they have the best warranty and longest one. I do believe they have a few pending legal issues pending against them.
I haven't had any issue with their products so far, at least with the one's I own. I no longer work with them because like you said, they are not responsive. Once I found out they were ignoring their customers I told them I would no longer be accepting their products. Thanks for watching.
on chinazon, you get exactly what you pay for. Chinese laughter shipped in one day.
i saw you cut it. did you cut on one end only? i was thinking, if you cut on one end, the turn signal lights will be shorter on the side you cut it. can you verify if the turn signal lights on the side you cut it is shorter compared to the other side? I was wondering if you need to cut it both sides (if you can do that) to make the turn signals even on both sides. thanks
The US Postal Service wants their tote back....
Haha! I tried giving it back, our mailman didn't want it... Thanks for watching!
lol.....I've got more than a couple milk crates from the local dairy in my garage.
