Hi. I just did this on my 2022 Tacoma SR5. Easy to do. 30 minute install. You have to push and wiggle in the connector into to the truck hitch plug, but it will fit. Right, left, braking and emergency 4 way lights. Also when you lock and unlock both sides blink. This is one cool mod. I wish I had them two days ago in FL when a torrential rain was coming down. It is your Running lifts that cars can see you by. These are a Safety must have. Thanks for sharing this install videos.
Looks great. Do you know if there’s a way to just have it illuminate when you apply the brakes and not directionals? I’m assuming you would have to tap into the third brake light that is above the rear window?
Thanks for this video. I installed raptor lights and tailgate light bar in less than 30 minutes! I had been quoted $525 to install. I am so glad I found your video. Instal was super easy so thanks again. Only thing I am concerned about, is the fact that the cover where you plug tailgate light in is open open halfway . Any thoughts on this? I am afraid snow/salt will get it there.
So what year is your Tacoma? Do you have the rear/side safety sensors? I have heard these may cause issues with these lights from other people's comments. Are you experiencing any issues with the truck thinking it is pulling a trailer? Love the look, but want to see what issues you have encountered. Not crazy about hard wiring because it voids the electrical warranty.
Hey brother, great video I need help. I have an SR5 2021 Toyota, tacoma, I bought the three way three-way assassin so I can hardwire from the back of my tailgate strip splice wires red do you know what’s the color that I’m tapping into underneath since I’m doing it from the back hard wiring and I have a shrink tool and tap in clip do you know the color that I’m tapping into is it Red cause on the light strip bar the only wire that pre-sliced is the red one can you help cause I don’t want to make a mistake Oh yeah, my name is Freddy
Cool would like to see how you connected to the reverse lights. Is there a way for the plug to be flush? I saw that it sticks out when it is plugged in
Good but is there any other way to connect the strip other than the outside part of the trailer plug? is there any like dual trailer plug in the market we can replace the OEM for?
Thank you for watching my video yes you can buy a splitter and than you can connect the light behind the bumper and still be able to connect another thing. Don't forget to subscribe for more videos.
Thank you for watching my videos. Yes or you can buy an adapter that lets you plug it in from the back and the front one is still available for what ever you need it for.
should've ran the wires through some kind of protector coils or at least a piece of garden hose to protect the wires from stone damage or something else.
Cool but I plan on tying mine into the existing lights so I don’t have to worry about the plug. I thought that what this video was going to show. If people need a video for this plug and play stuff then I wouldn’t do anything more in depth. Lol

What brand mudflaps are you running ?
Thank you for watching my video. I just got the universal ones at my local auto parts store.
So what if I don’t have the plugin?
Turn singals should be amber though and your reverse lit up red too so something was wired wrong
thanks for the link, loved the video
Thank you and thank you for watching my video. I really appreciate it.

Thank you for watching my video. My is 2018. I do not have the rear or side sensors. I did not notice any issues.
Runing lights don’t work so I got a replacement and still no luck…. Any advice?
Should use acetone or 99% alcohol to clean area for light strip. Makes the adhesive bond 10x better!!! Like almost can’t pull it off.
Thank you for watching my video I would use alcohol to prep the area.
Does water get into the plug outlet ?
I have not have had any issues.

I have not connected the reverse yet. For the plug they sell an adapter which you can plug behind the bumper .
@@PLAdventures Good video but you should have completed the install.....Where does the red wire go?
@@PLAdventures I just bought the adapter just waiting for the light in the mail
@@inferno1770 Can you share the link of the adapter and did it work for you??
The center wire on the adapter you have to splice into for the back up lights
Nice job! I heard that type of light is illegal in Florida, is this true?
Thank you for watching my video. I have not had any issues. I see a lot of people with the lights.
I really appreciate, I have plans to go to Florida next week so I don’t any problem!
Yup ,that's how I did mine.
Thank you so much you help me save some money
Thank you for watching my video. I am it helped.
What light bar was this and do you have a link to the adaptor your got?

Do you know what splitter is? Trying to find that. Thanks!
What if you don't want to utilize that connection, and need it for something later? Gotta unplug the strip and replug?
Thank you for watching my videos. Yes or you can buy an adapter that lets you plug it in from the back and the front one is still available for what ever you need it for.
Best recommendation is to hard wire it please have someone do it if you don't know how to
@@PLAdventures have not heard of or seen any adaptive to plug it behind bumper . Please reveal your source . Thanks

PULL THAT PLUG OUT AND SPLICE THE WIRES TOGETHER AND THEN PUT THE ADAPTER BACK IN SO THE WIRES DONT SHOW. ALSO NEDD TO CONNECT THE REVERSE LIGHTS
Very nice but wheres the red wire go?
You gotta tap that into your existing reverse light im assuming he didn't do it since he didn't show white leds that come on when in reverse
Where is the existing reverse light?
No reverse light
Real men still drive 1st gens js.
like this video.
Thank you for watching my video.
Bruh you’re not old enough to have this on your truck yet
How old you have to be :)
Oh no splice them wires so it doesn't show.
We have
Really a Toyota? Are you not embarrassed to have a sissy truck?
What's wrong with a Toyota?
