@@tammid8423 It's pretty much chibi, simplified would be something like Fatal Fury Special and Samurai Shodown on the Game Gear, where they went with full sized sprites that have no facial detail at all.
i was weirded out a little at the beginning with the controls, but after playing it for a while i was able to adapt to them easily. It's a surprisingly made port for it's restrictions.
I used to play the shit out of this game in 1996 :D Also probably my last GB game I bought before I put it in my desk in my old boyroom at my parents. Played this in a Super Gameboy at my cousin home too.
Acabei de saber da existência de KOF no Game Boy achei que só tinham lançados jogos portáteis de KOF para Neo Geo Pocket e GBA. Para um jogo de Game Boy esse jogo é bem fluído e tem design de personagens bem simples, porém agradável.
i have never even heard of this game but i have it on a multi cart and started it up and looks good. i was surprised at how good it looks and the fast frame rate, might even be fun
I used to borrow this game from a classmate back in '98, wanted to buy it from him but he moved :( years later i had the chance to buy KOF96 from japan. Great games, 96 was way better but 95 still special for me.
Pretty damn good original GB fighter considering most others on GB were crap like MK and SF. No where near as good as the NGPC fighting games but good for what it is.
94 at the time was not on any non Neo Geo hardware. The game didn't appear on other consoles till far later on with SNK Arcade Classics Vol 1 on the PS1/Wii/PSP, and in Japan on King of Fighters 94 Rebout.
All jokes aside this is pretty damn good for the Game Boy. Takara did very solid ports/verions of fighters on handheld.
That's why it looks like arena battle of toshinden
This was a great game, played it nonstop back in the day
Remember playing this for hours every day. XD
5 times select enable Saishu and Rugal, 15 times more appear Nakoruru
Nakoruru is one of my favorite KoF characters ever since I played this game back in the early 90s
Y Rimururu Ja Ja.
Excuse me while I answer my door.
Oh wait, a truckload of my childhood memories just arrived.
Dzul Fazly for real!!!
Bought the US version of this awhile back. Chibi sprites like this makes fighters on Gameboy work.
This is less chibi and more simplified

The first game I have bought in Gameboy back in 1995...Lots of great memmories...!
I bought this and The Lion King as my first games on Gameboy in 1998.
My first game for the game boy :*(
This was my first game I ever bought on game boy too...Memmories......
Gotta love those sprite animations.

+hanchiman The super gameboy player supports 2 player?
Yup, and "a bit of colour" (well actually the colour only appear in the background and not the actual game).
steve5123456789 hell yes
Jugaba esto por horas. Incluso en mi viaje al Cusco. Que recuerdos. =(
I had this game in late ‘97. I had 2 Gameboy Pockets back then, a black one and a silver one.
This was all the rage in grade school. Billy had this whack ultimate skill that he could just spam at low health. Nobody knew how to deal with it.
Such a great game for its time
I can say this looks like it's awkward to play with just two buttons, and even then it outclasses the Street Fighter II Gameboy Port.
That's funny.
Street Fighter 2 on gameboy port didn't have combos nor supers, so it was easier to pull off moves
@@mortenera4423 and yet, Street fighter 2 port had less fighters in the roster. Also the moves weren't as half smooth as KOF.
For it being a GB game, it sure is fast pace.

Now you can play the real version on the Switch anywhere you want!
I had this game on my Gameboy. Loved playing it though it made me rage
No, Smash fans, this is not Terry's first appearance on Nintendo hardware. It was the SNES port of Fatal Fury.
Thanks for posting

i remember there is a Nakoruru stage final one from samurai showdown
revolution for game portable
I love this
Muito legal...👏👏👏👏👏
Nostalgia
I was searching a fighting stage theme and I wonder why I didn't remember any other. I understand now.
Just picked this ⬆️ 🆙
💪 bussing

I just never looked how big the ngpc made the sprites.
Neogeo was too expensive, so a lot of kids in the 90s didn't have a choice but to settle with this.
dcool You gotta admit, it is pretty damn impressive the GB can run this port.
3 hidden fighters :
Rugal
Saisyu
Nakoruru
Can I give your video for edit my video?
Where is KOF94 from game boy?

I Play This Game. I Still Dont Know The Control Of Combo Of Ralf
Surprisingly decent entry, though the Neo Geo Pocket and Pocket Color fighters are a lot better.
:)
me imagino que nadie sabe sacar un personaje oculto en el juego KOF 95
The gameboy ones were far better than the neogeo pocket ones
バブオーブ
Rugal is broly xD
I love this
