If you have fine hair, can flat ironing make the braids more smooth and last longer? Or is it better to stretch and keep the texture to make braiding easier? Thanks!

Braziers always tell me to blow dry but I’m already knowing it’ll be easier for them to grip if I have some texture. I stretch it one day. The day of my appointment I use a blow dryer brush on the ends
