I didn't like Ric discrediting Caroline. Like, she asked to become pregnant with his and Jo's kids but she didn't. She took on the responsibility of becoming a mother to them like Jo had wanted otherwise why would she have her babies transferred into Caroline. Ric saying that he was going to take the twins far away from Caroline and everyone else was hurtful but saying that the girls were his and Jo's and practically discrediting everything that she did and has done for them up until that point you can tell that it broke her.
Since season 6 his character went from bad to just terrible in legacies

Plec just threw any resemblance of logic and established lore out the window, so she could make her desired fanfic world.
@@lamario295 It's literally been that way since season 1. She barely took any lore from the books and put it in the show like the intention was.
