My first memory of hearing you play was at a Yanni concert when I was a little girl! After that concert, I would spend hours upon hours practicing to be just like you. Especially the duet with Pedro Eustache. So many memories!! Thank you for your talent, musicality, and just being you. I haven't touched my violin in over 13 years but 2020 is the year. You inspired me so much as a little black girl who was often the only one in the room! The only one at chamber, the only for music camp, one of the few during All-State. THANK YOU!!!

If you want to listen to Pure Beauty then you do not have to go far. Karen Briggs, Violinist Page ll holds the strings of my family's heart in the notes she plays. I think that my goosebumps have passed completely out. Listening to each and every note that you play deeply hurts my heart with grief and pain in dealing with the loss of loved ones but it also heals my heart with hope and love and support. There will never be anyone that could ever compare to Karen Briggs and I doubt there will be anyone that can come even close to the beauty in the notes that flow from her violin. Thank you so much for ALL that you do. As you know from the day my wife and I brought our daughter home from the hospital the sound of your violin has captured her heart and while playing some of your songs yesterday a smile came across my face when I noticed Lexie beside me moving to the beat while pointing and smiling at you on the screen. I hope that one day she might pick up an instrument and use her emotions to play as beautiful as this. Thank you

The pictures in this video represents people from as many as I could fit in 4 minutes... a lot of wonderful musicians, family, friends and fans and I'm grateful to them for allowing me to include them. These are strange times and we are all surviving as best we can. Just follow the light as much as you can and when there's time, get to some more music. It's good for the soul! ❤️

So beautiful, Karen. This is such a strange and uncertain time for us all, but it's bringing out some poignant tunes from musicians of all genres. My son Adrean makes his living as a pianist (mainly jazz from all eras) and as a music teacher. He's trying to stay optimistic that he will be able to return to performing live again, but it's slow going waiting for things to return to the 'new normal.' I was having one of the most frustrating days ever. I needed something positive to listen to and help brighten the rest of my day seeing how it is 10:47 pm eastern time but I needed a pick me up. Thank you Karen Briggs for that. I was kind of funny my daughter was walking by and she looked at my computer screen but since she couldn't hear the music that was playing she did not pay it any mind until she noticed you playing and she backed up really quick and smiled but then rushed away. My wife plays so many different types of music along with the videos but she doesn't react to them as she reacts to you on the screen. I love that fact so, so much. :) :)
