Superb Panoramic Views: MT. CHOGATAKE to MT. JONEN from KAMIKOCHI

It`s my sister`s first time in the Northern Alps, and we climbed Mt. Jonen from Kamikochi. The whole trail has expansive views of the Hotaka peaks and the mighty Mt. Yarigatake.
We were blessed with clear days and enjoyed the magnificent views while on the trail and the mountain views from the summit. We spent the nights at the campgrounds. We enjoyed the time we spent pitching our tents at Konashidaira Campground. Cooking and eating our snacks and meals, and even drinking beers to quench the thirst after a long day on the trail. She was also surprised at how refreshing and cold the water from streams was-she could even drink it.
I think overall, despite being exhausted and sore from hiking, she still wants to join me on our next hiking trip.Yay! 😁
