Mr. Rosheger was my orchestra conductor for 4 years at Chelsea High school over 15 years ago...I miss him, he was an excellent conductor. I'm thrilled to see that he is still doing this.
atleast your school has an orchestra...10 years ago our school board put our orchestra program on hold because there were "too many participants"...they still haven't started it again...

i'm in the new trier symph orchestra now and i really hope we can live up to the name that kids in the past have given us.
I miss Rosheger so much
We listened to New Trier playing Brahm's Academic Overture in band yesterday.... I live in PA and we are sorta kinda amazed.

@bowlofjoe4 That's what I was wondering. Currently, symphony doesn't have nearly as many cellos.

Beutiful!
long live The Hungarian Kingdom
@shunnybunny9191 Yes.
What better orchestra than the New Trier Symphony Orchestra to play The Damnation of Faust? It's a rhetorical question, people.
How many moons ago did Stanley Ackerman retire? He was our conductor at NTE '80-'84 - ouch.
