The vacuum hose on the BOTTOM to the solenoid is the most common "I caused the problem". Easy to be disconnected and not reconnected when doing a starter, knock sensor, PCV valve etc. Took me a full day to find it. ARGGHHHH
Amazing Video thank you this saved me I know u don’t got many views on this but thank you for helping me save me lots of money amazing video 5 star ima subscribe
At 4:35 does anyone know the proper orientation of the bypass filter in the hose between the solenoid and what i think is the IMRC valve? mine broke, and while i ordered the correct bypass filter, i do not think it is symmetrical and can't figure out which way it should "face".
I need to replace that hose right above the intake manifold , my question is , can I replace it with a vacuum hose from auto zone or do I have to use an OEM hose
@@MTBPlanB oh ok makes sense. I’ll check my hose connections. I just bought the my RSX. And I know started was replace. Maybe mine is just that simple as well. Thank you for the reply my friend and excellent video
Golden rule, don't create more work for yourself. Ever happen to you?

Check the intake runner control valve sensor.
Yeah I have both in Conjuction. P1077 and P0662
@@MTBPlanBwhat did you use the vacuum for?

Any strong walled hose should do…I.e. such that it won’t collapse under vacuum.
so the vacuum hose at 16:21 was the problem?
Yes
Thank you for video!!! Subbed👍👍
Awesome thanks!
What kind of cleaner are you using?
Just any basic carb cleaner.
You didn’t replace anything?! I’m confused. Was it just a vacuum hose that came disconnected?? I have Same codes
Yes I had changed the crank position sensor previously and knocked the vacuum hose loose unknowingly.

Well I wasn’t that lucky! Pulled and cleaned my IMRC and cleared P1077 code.
And guess what it came back. What a waste of time 😩
Where is my comment?
