West Adams. Historic neighborhood in Los Angeles . Please read Below.

Neighborhood known for it's large number of historic houses and buildings. A lot of poor people. But some houses are valued at millions. In recent years many buildings have been restored to their glory. it is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Los Angeles.

My old neighbor! Lived there from the early 60s to the mid 70s. Lived on 22st south of the 10 freeway. Me and my 2 sisters went to 24th st school. Moved after 71 Sylmar earthquake to near the Elmo village. My 2 sisters went to LA high and i went to Mt Vernon jr high. Had to once again walk by those huge houses on my way to school.

I am from West Adams. I used to live on Adams & Cimarron, between Western and Arlington. I went to 24th Elementary School, Mt. Vernon Jr. High School, and Dorsey High School. What streets are you driving on? Are you sure you’re in the West Adams district?
