Tyron Smith hasn't played a full season in 7 years and Morgan Moses is just coming off surgery. We did fix the O-Line in free agency but if you think that stops us taking an O-Lineman at the top of the draft you're dead wrong.
I'd take Troy Fautanu because he has tackle/guard flexibility meaning he will 100% see significant time on the field and be a valuable piece throughout the season.
Great take, oline depth is absurdly important in making a playoff run. Fautanu is perfect for the versatility. Taking a tight end in the top 10 when you have significant other needs is not very logical
Stop saying we fixed the OL in free agency. We added old/journeymen. This is lunacy . Aaron didn’t tear his ACL last year bc our TE wasn’t good enough

When do the Jets learn their lesson? They couldn't protect the QB last year and to repeat the same mistake is unforgivable. Bowers might be good in the NFL someday, but if one of their last-legs OTs gives out at any point this season it won't matter who is running routes.

If i were the Jets i would go for JC Latham. He can push or beat out Moses for week 1. The Jets need to have 4 starting caliber OTs. Smith, Moses, Latham, and Vera Tucker as insurance. You only go as far as your line can push and protect.

The Jets have more of a need for a playmaker than on the Offensive Line. They can carry 8/9 Offensive Linemen and most are already on the roster. Sign Bakhtiari and that’s about it.

They need to trade down, get a second rounder and go OT/WR in the way that works best. Mimms + Legette for mine or the reverse in Thomas Jnr + Patrick Paul. They can't rely on two often injured 33 year olds to hold up the OL - and they also need to build the team for the future when Rogers inevitably goes down and retires.

Football is a young man's game. Joe D's plan is Aaron at 40+, Tyron Smith and Morgan Moses at 33+, AVT with a 300 lb body putting heavy torque on his repaired Achilles, an injured Mike Williams, and the most injury prone backup QB Tyrod Taylor.

Upon watching John Riggins in his first season I said there's a RB that can dominate in the playoffs and win a SB and he did, but his Super Bowl win was for the Redskins because we didn't meet his salary demands.

First, it's not weird to see Rich being a media shill - he explained roughing the passer for the NFL with an accompanying video that didn't make any sense. Second, Aaron clearly had players he wanted there, and Russini's list was pretty accurate. Aaron just wants to call out anything he can. He was outraged at reports of 50M/year on Pat's show a couple years prior, and then boom - 50M a year.
