Congrats on 2 years as a "UA-camr". As a subscriber i would like to thank you for all your videos specifically on the Tundra because i also have a 02 and i have gotten many great ideas from you and not only that i am able (with your videos) to work on my tuck knowing ahead of time what and how to do certain things. Keep up the good work and im sure this year will be better than the last.
I have a 2000 Tundra and recently found ur videos and I have literally gone thru and watched almost all of them & subscribed because you have been such a huge help to me. From the interior lights to washing the stupid seat belts, I have found all of ur videos informative and very helpful. I know it's a tedious task to make these videos but know that people out here are greatlful for them. Thank you Sal
Sal, Your videos are excellent. I watched your Tundra LED replacement several times before ordering the led bulbs to fix my 2001 Tundra. Keep up the good work.
Came across you channel recently. First of all, love the content. I've learned a good amount about my tundra and the option provided that I didnt know before. Also, its like youre a mirror image of me somewhere else. I have a 2000 tundra limited thats relatively low mileage and a rx7 fc turbo 2 10ae for the side project. Used to have a 240 myself along side the tundra but it was a s14! Just thought that was kind of funny. Keep up the content, I'll keep watching!
Sal, thanks so much for your insight on first gen Tundras. I acquired 2001 access cab last fall that needed a full timing service, radiator, and had a failed head gasket. Its mechanically good now after quite a bit of work ,and runs perfect. With 206K , it has a solid clean body, interior, and considering its always been an Ohio truck, its got a solid frame, having been replaced under warranty in 2012. ( Dealer printed a service history report for free after I provided the VIN). I'm getting ready to install an ATOTO F7WE. I got the harness on Amazon and wanted to ask if you needed any kind of antenna adapter or did the factory cable fit right into the radio? Thanks! Your channel has been a big help.
That's great to hear, I appreciate the support. As far as the antenna wiring, it should just plug right in without needing an adapter. Thanks for watching!
Congratulations on 2 years of UA-cam content. I am glad I found your channel for ideas and how to's for my 06 Tundra. Your contents has helped me out immensely.
Excellent video as always. Many of your Tundra videos have been so informative and helpful as they have guided me when working on my Tundra. Thanks so much
We appreciate the time and effort you put into each video. All the vids I’ve seen from your channel I’ve learned something. Great work Sal 👍 best of luck on the new job
Congrats on the anniversary! You have helped a ton with my Tundra project and I always look forward to the new vids, every other week or every other month! Thanks Sal.
Thanks for posting Sal. Honesty is always the best policy. Your videos are informative but also inspiring for me too. I also was wondering how the channel process worked. Keep it fun for you. Don't worry about the deadline. Hobbies shouldn't have deadlines as they are for us to enjoy doing. Cheers
Sal you never disappoint and are one the few humble UA-camr/content creators. Your honesty and engagement with the viewers is well above. Love the channel and will keep supporting it 🎉
😅@ voice shaking outside! I spent about that on my 1st gen the first year. I saved a ton doing my own timing belt. (Which is actually easier than I initially thought) Good info on the page dynamics. I've always been curious about that. I guess I should of kept my vids up on my Squaredrop build. Your doing good. Enjoy!✌️
Im looking into buy a 1st generation Tundra and I’m not sure whether to buy a 2005/2006 (due to the trans being sealed and not recommended to service) or the years before that. The extra horsepower is really tempting but the transmission is all I can think about. I know your kinda biased but I’d love to hear some thoughts. I found your channel through my new found interest in the Tundra and I’ve been binging your journey with it. I appreciate all the work you do and I’m really enjoying the videos!
This is something I go back and forth all the time on too. I was looking at upgrading to a double cab recently and I was debating going 04 with the older motor and trans, or going for an 05/06. The benefits of going newer are the power and the gearing. The benefits of going older are the simplicity (no TPMS sensors, more servicable trans, no secondary air injection system, etc). Plenty of people have had a lot of success with both types of engines though. Hope this helps a little, thanks for watching!
Congrats ive been watching all the tundra videos and multiple of them have watched a few times helping with my tundra, keep up the great work! Also have you had any power draws with that atoto headunit, got one in my old car and had to return it cause it'd kill the battery constantly
That's weird, I haven't had any issues with a power draw from the head unit. I wonder if you got a faulty unit or maybe there was something funky with the wiring? Sorry to hear that though. Thanks for watching, and I appreciate the support!
@JDMDriveway yeah, with all the hype around atoto and the price point it was a real bummer when mine didn't function but been on the fence trying another because of that reason, but maybe I'll just get the s8 and try that out and see if that one works better
Hey man, I have a 2004 Tundra I am unsure whether to put Bilstein 4600s with a leveling spacer, or just get the Bilstein 5100s. I saw you did the 4600s and a leveling spacer and I was curious if you’ve been happy with that decision.
I've been happy with it, but I do no off-roading at all lol. It doesn't feel especially "crashy" on road, and I would recommend it for a low budget solution. If you do any off-roading, I'd recommend the 5100s which actually give you more capability and aren't just for looks. Hope this helps, and thanks for watching! ua-cam.com/video/ReTv7JNrWO0/v-deo.htmlsi=iM4nB3b0ns4xsVLv
I've definitely considered it and even went to test drive a few last year. I've got pretty high standards though because I'd want to buy one in a similar/better condition than my AC. I still check FB marketplace every day! haha Thanks for watching
Not one that's associated to the channel or my cars, only my private account which I prefer to keep separate. Any updates to the cars will be here on UA-cam! Thanks for watching

I have an 06 tundra ac with the 4.0 v6
I want the 06 dc
Have you considered getting the dc?
