I don't know that a law banning HOAs and rental properties from requiring residents to pay for cable is really necessary. Landlords who signed deals with cable companies did so because they believed they would make their apartments more attractive to prospective tenants. HOAs would never have signed such agreements unless a majority of their members wanted them. Presumably, such contracts lock in the prices that tenants and HOA members pay for cable, and as we all know, the cost of cable is constantly rising as cable companies have to reach new deals with broadcast channels and cable networks. If the majority of tenants and HOA members no longer want to pay for cable, those contracts won't be renewed unless the cable companies offer a price so low that it makes the deal attractive to tenants and HOA members again.

But something i do know as a renter, apartments screw with the pricing to make it lower then it really is. Much like hotels. There is their bar price they advertise. Then there's the additiona required fees. That! If they were honest about, would not make them as attractive. And cable service is just one of those they can manipulate for marketing purposes. There are plenty of stories where HOAs have done evil things and NEVER held accountable. So i have no sympathy for them. And they have no plans to clean up their own industry. I'm fact, it's built to serve the law firms that profit from it. It had long never been for the homeowner. It's for the builder and law offices.
No sling tv we all can’t get locals, grrrrrrrrr makes me angry!leave to theses greedy companies to just assume!
The people that don’t get locals probably don’t know the mayor of their city.
Huh?
I want Sling to watch wrestling but when I have it I never watch it. I wish each network would have their own app instead of having to subscribe to a bundle.
Would you be willing to pay the outrageous cost for that? Probably not.
