Wish you would do a more in depth comparison on Launchers and customization not just camera matrix though because we can look at a pure stat sheet and know which is better based on OS especially since they are both Samsung!! Every other "phone reviewer" that I saw claimed that the note 9 camera is just like the s9. By this video, we can easily see the note 9 camera is better. And Toronto looks like a nice city to live in

G7X mark ii and I was using Final Cut Pro on my MacBook to edit, but lately I’ve been using Davinci Resolve 15 on my PC due to high recommendations
It's not better, it has better software
I like the Note 9 camera software better for the low light scenarios like the restaurant one seeing the subject inside. I really hope Samsung can bring that to the 9+ via software update.

Testoval som na dovolenke moje S9+ s mojou starou S7edge. Temer niet rozdielu. Samozrejme S9+ je v nočnej scéne lepší a tiež v rýchlosti videa.
S9 has scene optimizer now too
I'm really happy that they finally fixed the overexposure from the S9.

Very interesting. You did a wonderful job Thao and your right, camera comparisons are hard to do, but you nailed it. I love my S9+, but I can see where the Note 9 really outshines the S9+ in some areas. I will hold firm with my S9+ until the S10+ comes out. Should see a lot (hopefully)of improvements on the cameras. ✌️

Both phones are amazing and it seems like the Note 9 May have a slight advantage in hardware due to the new A.I in the camera, however both phones are great and I am happy to be a proud owner of an S9 Plus

Okay. I think I still prefer the s9 plus, but the note does have slightly enhanced camera which I think is pretty cool. Maybe the 10 will have something better!
Thao in note9 u can touch and hold any camera mode it will shows u hidden features there u can enable sports mode...Love u from India ❤

Another great vid.... I'm using the 9 plus now since it came out and I'm happy with the camera. Looks like the note took it just a little farther. Of all ur pics with both phones , I'd say the selfies were the best..😉....keep up the good work...

Great comparison! The software really does make a difference but I wouldn't say it was anything to worry about. Both cameras and software is great.

Both are similar to note a difference, but it shows that software optimization makes an small difference. A too small step to justify the price gap. Of course is not the only thing, the pen itself worth several videos.

Great video! I pre-ordered the Note 9, got it and had buyer remorse! I had to finance the entire $1000... I would have been paying $45 a month (interest free) for the next two years :( Even through I got free $300 headphones it's not worth it. I came to my senses and bought a like new S9 Plus on Swappa for $580 and paid cash. If you can get a deal go for the Note9. The battery life was great but I didn't see using the s-pen too much so it was not worth going into debt. Plus if I bought a 1K phone I would want to keep it until it falls apart now I'm free to upgrade in a year or two if I want cause it's paid for.

Just strange how they both are identical in specs
The main thing that matters in smartphone cameras isnt really the hardware, but after processing the taken image. Pixel 2 XL has pretty much the same camera like the S9, but its much better in quality because of an amazing image processing
Shes a Beautiful lady. The Note 9 did great. Both are good cameras but the enhancements are there. It is not the same camera. The selfie camera is even different. Amazing vid

I feel like they’ll probably bundle it in with the Android P update, whenever that happens. I read that they are bringing AR-Emoji to the Note 8, so maybe they’ll bring it earlier?

Scene Optimization is coming to the S9 with the Android Pie update! I was about to ask why Samsung hasn't sent to optimization software to the S9 if the camera hardware is the same as the Note 9.

@@thao well hard to compare a year to a day lol but I'm loving it so far. The extra storage and extra battery are much appreciated though when I got the phone it had half battery when I got it at 430 today lol but I'm just now charging it up lol. But so far so good 😊 I'll give it a real whirl tomorrow

Was the beauty mode turned off in front camera? The selfies looked too airbrushed.
They were all off except for the one that I labelled beauty mode on.
@@thao Thanks for the reply! I personally feel this year has made considerable improvements in each of their flagships from S9 to S9+ and now on to Note 9. But somehow I feel they should push a software update for the camera on S9/S9+ which are barely 6 months old to make it as good as the Note 9.

Don't know what happened, the camera on my Note 9 was working fine until a few days ago..... when I'm recording video it looks like I have zoomed in and I haven't. Also, it seems like the stabilization is not working properly.... it's SOOOO ANNOYING !! Has anyone else experienced the same thing with their Note 9? (just for the record, my husband has S9+ and his camera is still working perfectly)
