My Dear Senator, I do speak as a concerned citizen myself and I must correct you. Even though the PNM has "beaten down the population" with wanting to implement this tax, The People do not want to have to pay such a tax. You see Taxation on people, very much tends to slavery especially when goods and services are not being adequately delivered by this government, and has never been adequately delivered during their tenure. Taxation amounts to a desperate attempt to create a revenue stream by burdening people. It shows that this government is out of ideas and plans so as to create other sustainable forms of revenue so their plan is Take from the People in order to Supposedly provide for the People. In other developed countries, which are much larger "dots" on the global map than our "dot", with much larger populations, than our population, it means significantly more goods and services need to be provided for the people. Those people however, do not oppose their property taxes because the goods and services provided are top notch. Trinidadians therefore need to STAND AGAINST THIS OPPRESSIVE GOVERNMENT AND VOTE THEM OUT!!!
