- Join Miss GoElectric on a Thursday night eRide (group ride) hosted by Jason Hall, famed co-founder of the Slow Roll. This ride starts at Electric Avenue eBikes Downtown Detroit throughout the riding season. It ends there, too so MGE spent some time with the organizers learning about the history of the event and the bike shop, too!

@@MissGoElectric So cool!
Thank you, i been looking for a E group ride in Detroit for a couple of weeks now, now i know, let's goo...😊ps i subscribe....
Every Thursday this one goes out of the Detroit Trek eBike store. Have fun!
Thanks for the sub, too
Wide variety of e-mobility seen in this video!
Absolutely. It reminded us that we have more ground to cover with our review. Lol
I was at that ride! I was the kid on the EV Scooter with underglow in some of the shots lol
Very cool!! We loved the creative lighting on yours and others. There was an Ariel eBike which was tricked out incredibly.
Our GoPro night footage did not turn out well, but it was a highlight to see all of these bikes after dark.
Nice tour!
There was so much more but footage after dark was a bit too grainy to use. We recommend RiDetroit. They also host personal and private group tours.
"E-Mobility" is a new term for me.
Electric Mobility
Exactly what happened to me haven't been on a bike since I was 12 years old now iam 54 and put a 1000 kms on this short summer 😀
What a delight you've rediscovered!
Are those rear lights built into your helmet? Pretty cool.
Yes! Full review here: ua-cam.com/video/HCHZByjmLRE/v-deo.html
YES, Laycee! Even this introvert would enjoy such rides. Does Detroit shut down the traffic for all those steets on Thursday nights? Watching this made me feel like I'm back in the Netherlands.
The streets are not shut down but RiDetroit posts team members at each corner and street crossing to manage traffic. They do a wonderful job.
The organizer has made global news and even did a commercial with Apple for the size and scope of his rides over the years

This is nice. But, it is weird that there are almost no pedestrians.
Thursday night may not be the most popular night on the town.
Was that a motorized unicycle?
Yes, there were tons of different eMobility products!
Unfortunately in my area, the ride is held at night, it's hectic and full of show offs that break traffic laws, I'm also scared that someone is gonna steal my E bike, since most use regular bikes.
This one continues after dark, too. That footage wasn't as usable for us. All of the bikes here were electric, which was fun. Of course, in any large group of people there will be representation from all behavioral profiles. We did encounter some unwise riding behavior, but mostly good.
Nope.. to live in and work in Detroit/Michigan you most definitely need a car. That bike isn't going to work in 2ft of snow or along I-75
We all live in Michigan at MGE. We know.
Bikes are more fun when the weather is good.
