I know I'm in the minority -- but I think it benefits our offense by trading Davante. Minshew was forced to throw it to Davante every time whether he was open or not. This limited Garnder's focus on his pre-reads. Plus, with Bowers, Getsy was supposed to implement the 12 Personnel set -- and with Mayer, Bowers and our other superior tight-ends, be "unstoppable." Without Davante our offense is more diverse, allows us to incorporate our other great players -- like Tre, Jakobi, Mattison... and maybe even Laube. Plus, allowing Minshew the freedom to spread the ball around -- instead of focusing solely on Davante, makes us more explosive. Plus, many of the 12 personnel routes are quicker than Adams.
I noticed when 65 was in, the Raiders struggled to maintain drives... We were way better when Dylan Parham was in... Need a C/OG in next years draft.... I like Bryce FOSTER C/Guard with the Kansas Jayhawks... I believe he played at Texas A&M the prior years... 6-5 330 Lbs. I wouldn't mind a breakdown after the season... Thanks for the Breakdown... Sadly McDaniels didn't leave us a lot of room to get many pick ups except for the major needs (except QB for different reasons) . Right now they have to bolster some picks and assets to make more moves. Also I think this year's draft is more underrated for QB than last year's especially when most teams are locked in at that position with very little room to get out of attempt drafting a first or even second round QB.
I think Jakobi got talent to be a #1 WR, he shifty in his routes. The offense played better too without having to feed Tae., we will see what happens going forward.
