The Maserati can't sound like that because Ferrari engineered the V6 to sound like it does. Not only does the 296 have equal length exhaust manifolds but the engine also has a different firing order. NO exhaust will make it sound like the 296.
The maserati nettuno engine is brand new, the engine block is made by GW casting alongside with the Bugatti Chiron block, looks like the Alfa 140 engine but they come from completely different factory and has a much tighter tolerance

Sexiness wild performance, exhaust system or not you can only do so much with the sound of less cylinders, Maseratis pull them off well with stock, the alfa Romeo Giulia qudrifolio is crazy sounding as well

You guys should have really just cut out the first 6 minutes. Also, go listen to a Capristo exhaust on this car and take some notes. That's what it needs to sound like.
this review is "flawed" to be honest. This car was engineered around the carbon fiber tub to actually become 3 versions: gas-powered car first, then the "Cielo" (Spyder/Spider) convertible version, then the electric model. Is the reviewer suggesting that NOVITEC can or will fix the "flaws" simply by changing the springs and tweaking the exhaust? That seems rather insulting to the engineers who spent many hours refining both the suspension and the exhaust note. Modern cars are complex machines, and the various systems have been painstakingly worked on to get it "just right" from the factory's viewpoint, at least. Some degree of compromise is just part of the nature of mass-producing a vehicle. Do manufacturers leave room for aftermarket tuners (like NOVITEC) to do their thing? Maybe. But can anyone say such modifications are always 100% positive? I think not. Car manufacturers spend tons of money and time to engineer the "best" possible product while acknowledging that compromises are necessary for a variety of reasons.
Recently looked at a 2019 GranTurismo MC the salesman agreed with me it’s louder than the MC20. I said put this V-8 in the MC20 you got a deal. he agreed 😂
Far be it from me to judge, because I'll never own a car of this cost or pedigree. But I wouldn't muss one hair on it by changing spring rates or suspension geometry. The car speaks for itself.
Do NOT get the Novitec exhaust...have had all kinds of problems and codes pop up 1) ETC SERVICE...electronic throttle control service 2) ENGINE SERVICE 3) OBD CODE P1217 popped up Also springs and spacers probably not a perfect fit either since there is RUBBING ISSUES. 0/10 FAIL....and when asked Novitec...takes over a month to reply...and their answer 100% Denial basically telling me the problem is my car...not their products Know that other friends who have issues too with Novitec... Surprising this is Novitecs customer service....guess they focus on Ferrari first then Lambo then McLaren and MASERATI does not matter to them... Unless Novitec fixes this issue I will NEVER buy a Novitec product ever again and when people ask I will have nothing good to say about them

Those few things should be addressed. The creaks, the defroster vent is a literal hazard, and no excuse for the damn vents 🤦🏾♂️ like these are things so damn cheap to fix they really, really need to address them.
So lets see how long these small engines turbocharged last or electric cars lifespan the reason a Veyron has a huge engine is for longevity idk im not digging these hybrids and such
It’s a pretty car, but avoid this car like the plague. There’s one at west coast exotics that’s beautiful with only 119 miles on it. It’s for sale for 80k under the purchase price, and it ain’t moving. The resale on these cars is going to tank hard!
It has such a beautiful eye catching super car look to it that it doesnt need a big attention seeking douche bag exhaust on it. I like it when people use an exhaust to improve performance or tune the sound slightly but the trend of loudness and pops and bangs is major leauge douchebaggery.
dear god that car sounds so much worse than it looks. Then when you demonstrated parts literally falling off the interior at 1600km, that completely killed it for me
not a single MC20 owner has complained or experienced the issues expressed in the vid. Nothing but praise from its owners and the media. I had the opportunity to drive one for an extended period and came away extremely impressed For comparison I've owned three McLarens with the last being a 600LT Spider. Trust me the MC20 is right there and actually felt faster.
There is no doubt it sounds better, but those upshifts are so bad (on all turbo cars) that is tough to swallow. End of the song ends with someone punched the car is stomach and then starts new song. Anticlimactic?!

Their crap did't work on mine. Car would not drive higher than GT mode. Played their trouble shooting game for many mechanic man hours for for over a month. Then threw their 'no refunds policy ' in my face and went Missing in action (nor more communication from them -its been almost two years). The car is too great to 'be saved' by any exhaust since it has so much more going for it. But being the self absorbed Narcissists that they are, they will hinge the car's success on their exhaust sound improvement which is no improvement at all and even blame Maserati for their half cooked products failure, including their suspension mods that caused the bumping sound they so conveniently blamed Maserati for!!!!!.
Man that car sounds terrible. I like a V6 sound like the VQ and VR from Nissan and Ferrari 296, even BMW I6 sounds pretty good but this is just meh like the new NSX.

The good of this car far outweighs the bad, which can be mostly attributed to minor annoyances handled under warranty. Stunning machine.
On RDBLA Maserati contacted them and said the exhaust sounds better after several thousand miles of run in .
