I mean to be fair, most of the main cast throughout the movies is implied to be some flavor of force sensitive. It's kinda like in other fantasy, you have your wizards and such but extraordinary powers is just something the main cast just have because it's cool.
Han Solo is not Force sensitive. The Force is Han Solo sensitive. Meaning it guides him without him even knowing it. He's a guy who hangs out and protects important Jedi twins destined for greatness. So yes The Force is Han Solo sensitive.
It always reminded me of how a swordsman would stand like with a rapier or something, gave him a unique vaguely "Have at thee!" Sort of stance when he fired
Another thing to consider is that it’s highly likely that Han had an above average level of force sensitivity. In the sequel trilogy he shoots a storm trooper that’s behind him without looking.
Revolver/mauser shooters understand that this is the best way to shoot that kind of weapon even in real life since it requires more elbow torque vs wrist toque to dampen the recoil
Well, I always believed Han was mildly Force Sensitive. Not enough to be a Force User. Yet, enough to subconsciously draw upon the Force to basically create Luck. In the tabletop pen and paper roleplay game Star Wars: Edge of the Empire (and the rest of the books). There is a tree can take in Character Building to be Force Sensitive. Yet, does not mean you will become a Light or Dark Jedi. Just means, may subconsciously (roleplaying within the moment) to bend luck to your favor. Your character doesn't realize they are Force Sensitive. Just things can go their way. Or can REALLY NOT GO THEIR WAY! But that is half the fun. So Han's stance is that he is so confident in his shooting abilities. He doesn't need no sights. If anything, the sights are there to throw everyone off. (Plus, in the tabletop, he is a hell of a shot and pilot. You do not want to piss him off.)
Point shooting isn't "intuition" based. Literally pointing at the target with your finger before firing gets the barrel very close to the target as well. You're literally using your finger as a sight.
As Harrison Ford probably never fired a real gun, why did he use this stance in the movies? Was it just because the shootout scene was under the falcon so he had to get low, or did Lucas have a gun expert teach him?
It's hard to take the squat shoot technique after watching Tex and Dep of the BlackPantsLegion watch that very same footage in the middle of the Far Cry 5 with a Cop series
That's because Han is a true Pistolero. A right and proper Gunslinger. In the books, he's capable with a blaster rifle, but a downright terrifying artist of the craft with a pistol.
