Dude the way you handled Minion was truly amazing! You set him up with those mines and then styled on him with that trick shot by using your special! That was EPIC!!!
Fun tips for people who have a tough time with this game. 1: In the Paris level, teleport up to the top of the Lourve, back into one of the corners and angle yourself so you can hit the other cars when they teleport up there. It’s basically a place you can patiently wait and kill everybody without much risk of damage, especially using your special weapons and freeze attack. 2: In Amazonia, get a remote bomb and head to the tallest temple/building. The one that has two entrances you can make, in front of the wooden bridge. Plant the bomb about halfway between the bridge and building, back up and put up a shield. Boost toward the bomb and detonate it to launch yourself and land on top of the building. There are some homing missiles up there and nobody can hit you unless you get super close to the edge. Change your view to the highest and furthest view so you can see enemies better to get kills. Do the same when Minion shows up and he won’t be able to touch you. 3: In the New York stage, on the top of the building closest to the Statue of Liberty, blow up the blue box and drop down into the pool. (Or jump through the window at the bottom of that building) Wait for enemies to drop down into the pool and let them have it with freeze and other weapons. 4: In Antarctica, lure enemies into the sections that are about to fall, freeze them and boost out of there. Somewhat risky, but simple to do. Another option is to load up on ricochet bombs and teleport to the lone island, freeze anybody that teleports there and use the bombs to push them off the edge. In general, utilize the heck out of your special bar. Shield is supremely useful especially in Moscow and Holland. Minion’s special is also extremely efficient at taking down enemies, don’t be afraid to use it, even though it eats up your meter. It’s great for the sweet spots I mentioned in the levels above.
His special in this is still my favorite out of all his/her appearances. It's an actual shadow. All the other ones were just purple orbs and a coffin. Plus the sound it makes is awesome
Shadow is perhaps the only vehicle I've cleared the game on Hard in one sitting and no continues with. His Special weapon is simply too handy; regenerates quickly, lots of damage, hits groups of enemies- what's not to like? I still get super pissed on how the AI cheats hard in this game; it's like playing the lottery for a chance of clearing the game in one go on Hard.
Shadow is my favorite, hands down. Especially when you realize his special is more deadly than grimm's. Best when you pass the shadow special UNDER an enemy car. Try it in the Notre dame in paris. Go to upper room and wait for bad guys to follow you. When they drive out send a shadow with them and detonate. Kills quick ever time. Just as good in Effail tower, or at the fenced in cage thing in Hollywood. Go there, and await enemy's to drive by the bridge. Send shadows out and detonate. Killer ever time too. Love shadow... shadow or road kill when I throw the boomarang right.
You definitely know how to play this game well. Shadow is my favorite character and the best IMO. Best special in the game outside of Minion, but it can still be used by Shadow so lol.. I love how you properly utilize the special meter for shielding etc. Great video!
14:57 straight gangster special. I remember always wanting to play with Hammerhead but i couldnt figure out his special. Shadow and Mr. Grimm were my absolute favs tho. And this game is in my top 5 ever

I enjoy seeing someone really master the potential each vehicle has in these games. You’re not a generic tm player. You’ve definitely developed a ‘style’

I played in a TM2 tournament back in 2005. I took 1st place playing Shadow. The guy I beat in the finals told me he'd never seen anyone who was that good with him before!
How far does his special really go? It was always hard to see the shadow on the ground but you knew it went way further than you could see, do you just end up timing it in your head in the end?
yeah honestly ricochets always hate me. I'll play New York and Antarctica with the ricochet strategy and then anhilated by them in Holland and Hong Kong
I remember my older brother William likes using Shadow in this game, maybe cause he likes the car and the character who is basically some kind of guy who is a graveyard keeper or something. His ending is actually pretty good cause he wins the contest and gives Calypso the taste of his own medicine by releasing the souls who are the drivers that died in his contest and the restless souls attack Calypso sending him to his demise. Nice😎 Plus don't you love when the AI commits suicide when they fall to their doom? Very funny and satisfying too. Cause for example the New York Stage for even the hardest AI can be stupid by falling to their deaths. 15:31 to 17:24
In my times i was totally adicted to this game. I've cleared the game with all the vehicles in hard mode. My favourite was Outlaw 2 and Roadkill. For 1vs1 the boomerang was fucking funny how could it hit from behind the corner.
Okay, I just have to say this, but I just love the big f u to Mr. Slam when you threw up your shield immediately when he grabbed you. He thought he had you, but then your shield went up and you took no further damage. I also realized you more or less said 'get fucked, Mr. Slam' afterward by spamming all three remote bombs you had on you at the time.
the game gives it 4 points. its been debated whether shadow and thumper should get 5ves like grim. but i suspect they got 4s because the special can hurt you too
O yeah I give it the top spot, (sans Minion ofc) it passes through walls and does extra damage when someone's on a slant or it detonates a little below the target. On top of that it's Regen rate is one of the best.

The only thing that never made sense in this game is how you need to keep defeating the same vehicles over and over again, except in different parts around the world. Shouldn't every area have different cars? You just obliterated someone and dropped them off the rooftops of New York, and now they're back in the next level.

I had fun with it but it nerfed some of the best elements of the game. None of the sequels have captured this games tone and execution. The venues were okay, but there's something about the way the cars move.. or the color palettes.. idk it's just harder to take stuff in, most cars are unrecognizable unless you're right upon them, and all the unique sounds and handling of vehicles.. the personality of it is just gone.

Thumper's precise damage is hard to point out since it also gives vehicle burn damage.
Shadow definitely a 5 realistically speaking... Mr grim is like a 3 because of it's regen rate
