Hi! Thank you so much for the tutorial. That is really awesome! However, the elevation data that I produced contains several negative values and the data looks un-realistic. Is that any additional process to get a DEM like SRTM? The data does not fit to SRTM.
Hello Thanks for the tutorial, but I have a mistake in the 11:52 the snapshu unwrapping, the message is: unexpected or anormal exit of child process 9296 Abort
Hello sir, thank you very much for your work and your videos. I have a few questions if you have time to answer them please: 1- I want to extract the lineaments from the sentinel 1 and sentinel 2 images, for sentinel 1 I find the RAW, SLC and GRD types, and for sentinel 2 I find A and B, which type will be the best and the simplest to use for sentinel 1 and for sentinel 2? Best regards
hello. first thanks for this very helpful tutorial. however i have a problem about coregistration part. does it take so much time? because i ve been waiting for hours but it didnt finish. could you help please
Thanks. For speeding up coregistration you have to use SSD drive. Processing SAR data in SNAP on SSD drive might be even 20 times faster than on HDD drive. Best regards and please subscribe if you already haven't done it.
You can do it but it may last very long. Maybe try to improve SNAP performance especially cache. Watch this video ua-cam.com/video/CwubLIdxl0A/v-deo.html for instructions.
Hi ! Thank you for the video. I have a problem regarding the baseline tool use. Here's the name of the product : S1A_IW_SLC__1SDV_20161116T181751_20161116T181818_013971_016816_1CCA. It seems like the tool doesn't have any data regarding this one or other sentinel products in my area. Please help !
@@MrGIS Thank you for your response. There is actually a tool in sentinel toolbox that displays baseline informations. However, since the image download takes a bit of time it wouldn't be practical to go through hundreds of images just to get the right baseline. Thus, I need to see the product baseline informations before download, any ideas or suggestions ?
Hello. Thank you very much for the class. I have a question, I'm generating an MDE but I'm not sure if I use IW1 or IW3. Some videos, the authors use IW1 and in others IW3, but do not explain the reason. Thanks.
the image is divided into 3 big thirds. IW1 IW2 and IW3 just refer to one of the portions of the image. you have to choose the one that contains your study area
Dear MrGIS, thanks you for your helful video. could you tell me about detemination baseline to download the second image for interferometric? Although i accessed on website: Alaska.edu ?? i look forward to hearing from you. yours faithfully,
Hello. I saw this video for my reserach, and this is extremely helpful. Thank you. Unfortunately, I got a problem in unwrapping of 11:19 ua-cam.com/video/7w_-deMSRTs/v-deo.html. I mean, although SnaphuExport is well done by following the process of 11:09 ua-cam.com/video/7w_-deMSRTs/v-deo.html from co-registration, Radar>Interfermetric>Unwrapping>Snaphu-unwrapping , then "file could not read." displayed. Do you happen to know how to solve this problem?
Make sure that while unwrapping the phase image is selected from snaphu export folder and the output folder for unwrapping is also snaphu export folder. You can also adjust snaphu export parameters.

Sir, I have created DEM from Sentinel-1 InSAR data as per your guidance but it shows several negative elevation values. Why this problem occurs?
Thank you for this wonderful video
For 2nd image based on what criterion we have to choose the perpendicular baseline ?
At last why not selected "DEM" checkbox in Range doppler Terrain Correction Dialogue Window??
0:29 that do I do to Mac?

Hello MrGIS cam you share baseline tool, U have used...It is not available in Alaska satellite facility..Regards
can we plot the DEM data to other apps such as global mapper to analyze long section profile?
You can export results as tif raster and process it in any GIS application.
Thank you so much, sir, may I get the link that I can check the baseline, please?
Alaska State Facility google it. Best regards.

Hello sir, I have a problem in Coregistration it shows Java heap space. Please give me the solution 🙏
Try to adjust SNAP performance settings . Look at this video ua-cam.com/video/CwubLIdxl0A/v-deo.html
@@MrGIS I have done it but still, it shows a similar error (“GC overhead limit exceeded”, “Java heap space error”).

Try data with at least 2 weeks time shift. Remember to check the coherence after interferogram creation.

Hi, Tnx for your tutorial
what is the final dem resolution pixel size?
You're welcome. The resolution is as I remember 15m.
@@MrGIS ok, tanks
@@MrGIS hi. How can we increase that accuracy?
@@mohsenomidi2029 I suggest applying PSI methods.

is there any way to create dem without using this baseline tool?
Yes of course. This tool is only for supporting selection of image pair and helps to achieve good results.
how to choose a couple for the imagen ?
At Alaska state facility website there is an application for choosing pair of images with optimal baseline.
