Thank you for the interesting lecture! This might sound like a very basic question. But how does one calculate displacement in mm/year? I noticed that absolute displacement between the reference image and secondary image is obtained initially. And as time go by, and more and more images are obtained, the absolute displacement will still be relative to the reference image. Would that mean that the rate of displacement should be (displacement)/(time since reference image)? This way of calculating rate would result in a decreasing rate of displacement as time go by, given time will always be increasing. Another method is to find the change in displacement between 2 images, and extrapolate it to a year. E.g. [(displacement between 1jan and 1feb)/(31)]*365 -> however, this tends to make displacement values extremely large. Too large and it is alarming. Wondering are there any industrial norms to calculate rate of displacement in mm/year? Thank you!
So great! Keep uploading educational videos.
Nice quick succinct lecture ! Thank you.
Super clear, thank you so much for this video!!
thanks, everything is very clear
