Honestly it depends on the texture of your hair! Using 400 on someone with a thicker texture of hair in most cases, will not straighten the hair enough to prevent it from reverting of poofing back up. Someone with fine hair may do okay with a temp of 400. Also I want to say that using 450 will not damage your hair given you are using the proper technique. Maybe I should do a video breaking this down??
Since she won't actually answer... a good heat protectant spray diffused before blow drying helps set the blow dry (Tresseme is a good cheap option) and a serum before flat iron (eg Moroccan oil brand) helps with shine and to lay the cuticle down (3b-4c hair in my fam) ❤❤

I love my magnesium flat irons from Sally’s, and my $40 titanium flat irons by kiss too. I get just as good if not better results than most expensive flat irons. If you have a nice head of hair to work with pretty much any flat irons these days will give good results. If your hair is ass it don’t matter what flat irons you use, your hair is just ass.
@@soulspirationgoddess It’s letting people know they don’t need to spend an arm and a leg to get good results. By ass I mean damaged, in which case it is what it is. This is a public forum so just because it’s not useful to you don’t mean it’s not information someone else could use.
Just based off her music selection…. I believe her!

What temperature do you put the flat iron on? And should I get a keratin treatment I have 4c hair?
It depends on the client and their hair. I don’t use keratin treatments so I can’t answer that for you.
I have been straightening hair for 30 years and I have never had to use over 390 degrees on any head, and I’m talking bone straight results.
@@msshaffer5 thanks for letting me know this because I don't want to burn my hair

Can I ask what products you use can never get my hair to stay
I use several professional grade products depending on the client and their hair. Everyone’s hair needs something different 💕

This is not a productive comment. Especially if you are referring to a certain texture of hair as “ass”.
This by far is the most ignorant comment I’ve seen to date.

@@msshaffer5 pretty sure there was some texturism hidden in that comment but ok let’s go with “damaged”. :)
@@soulspirationgoddess Not at all, no texture is ass but people be doing too much with damaged ass hair and expecting miracles.
