Nice work! DIYing is all about starting and stopping and re-thinking. You came up with a system that will work for you. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, I appreciate the view and the feedback, I just like using my hands to make it myself, sometimes it even works out for me :)

That auger mount is exactly what I needed for a reference. The others I've seen mount to the bumper or something or getting the hood open was tough. Thank you

@dabarn I spent the last 2 days and made my own version of this. I bolted a post to the Frame of the snowmobile under the hood. Made a small hole in one of the vents in the hood. And the rack slides into the post when the hood is closed. Pull the pin and remove the rack to open the hood

    Awesome job "Darney"!
I'm looking into modifying my sled for ice fishing and I'm definitely going to use some of your ideas. Thanks for posting the video.

Looks good. I have a similar sled and am going to attempt to make the same front mount.

OMG! I just watched myself, lol. Great job. I, too, am a knucklehead and will attempt anything. No training, but if I can do it, anyone can do it. Again, great job. I did the design build and built my rack last year. Now, to go and do the redesign build, lmao. Maybe next year it will be the call it good build. One can only hope. Thanks for some ideas. Great video and play safe.

Thanks for the kind words. It's always fun for me to create things and figure it out as I go. Stay tuned and I'll have more vids coming.
