We sure could, and the earths population would go back to a more sustainable level. Might be a good thing, but actually if we did away with Farmers in general we might even be better off, since we lived for millions of years without "farming" or cultivating a plant and mainly just foraged for our flora and fauna.
Yes doctors could easily be downsized. Also, I'd offer lawyers an opportunity for pennance working at a 1-1 ratio as farmers for a decade or more, or get gassed. I heart solving problems.

They won't cut firebreaks, they let the trees grow up to the road and the grass get tall throughout, they won't do controlled burns (or half az it so that the fire spreads through half of New Mexico), and they won't let you thin out the forest by regular people chopping down some lumber or firewood here and there. All that lumber and animal feed gone to waste to make CO2, and it's not even keeping people warm.
Also, why the heck are we not taking all the crap from these meat farms and fertilizing the crops? Getting rid of manure should not be a problem or a hazard. You should not have to buy fertilizer and ship it halfway across the world!
The problem is is that people have to stop asking the government’s permission to do these things. Just do it if one person does it it won’t work but if many do it well ………

Mr Joel, Forests are not tree farms. They are a closed system. They are a living system. Not a farm . I'd love to show you the forests in the Pacific North West. Where fire is a natural part of the system. The pruning you mean thinning and picking up debris on the forest floor, cutout the under growth. This is actually a living system. Non man-made fires, there are many causes that won't stop when you prune it.
So what about what he said didn’t make sense to you? If I recall, he also didn’t go much into detail about the idea. Where are the negatives in what he said i guess?
You must have studied the forest to know what it provides, besides lumber. It covers the stoney grown the roots break the stones, draws up minerals and water the needles cover the stones with duff and fallen trees ,which creates more duff and a womb for seeds to grow more trees. They give off oxygen and takes in carbon. They create shade to cool the streams so fish can thrive and animals can live. They keep the snow in place so it melts slowly percolating filling aquifers. On the edges of the forest grow all types of food for humans and animals. Huckle berries, blueberries, nuts, thousands of edibles including mushrooms. You see the forest works for us by being a forest. Look what happen to Israel when they were deforested. Is that what you want for us?
Now let me tell you what happens when you prune. Or let me tell you how they are pruning our, mine and your forest not the governments, they are thinning out the marketable trees leaving smaller marketable trees to grow big. The trees are between 20 to 40 feet apart, limbed up 20 feet up. All of the native undergrowth is cut out. All of the smaller trees are cut out. So it looks like this, a tree every 20 to 40 feet on a whole unit in a patch of soil. All of the parts are put in a pile the size of a large city block two floors high, burned.
Ok mmmmm not here and if that’s the case there you are boing it wrong and maybe need to go back to school to get more government indoctrination shove down your throat
Salatin is a genius, thank God for people like him in our country!
Wild applause for the building soil evangelist. Sacred stuff. Can you hear God's "Well done, my son."

No to digital currency.
