The basket is coated with a Teflon (PTFE) coating, which is probably cancerous, yes. It is a matter of time before it detaches and when that happens, it has probably already been ingested via the food. I avoid any cookware that contains these hazardous PFAS/GenX coatings. Philips used to make airfryers with a stainless steel, uncoated basket that is much safer, so my advice is to look for availability of those older models. They are harder to clean, but at least the contact surface of the basket with the food is not dangerous.
This Philips air fryer is really gorgeous looking. Love the hidden touch controls which glow when setting up. The front window is also very helpful while cooking. Thank you for your detailed review and please do some comparison video with other similar products. I enjoy watching your reviews ☺️👍
5 months on what is your feedback. For some reason this model is t available on Amazon... Does the glass view help?. Guess that is the only difference between this 5.6 and 6.2

There is not a drastic differnence, chances are you will be cooking the same portion in both, so pick which ever u like
didn't u feel deep fried chicken is much more tasty than air fried one...😅
