NNNNOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! was looking forward to more nut and bolt videos like the 348 ones but oh well, It's just business. Cant wait to see the up coming vids on the 575 and 430 ! have a good one and best of luck with the new house!
Ohhhh it´s a shame to hear the F355 project is no more :( The DIY videos are the best for sure; I, for example, am a computer engineer guy and I love mechanic but I don´t know almost anything about it, so these videos teach me a lot... but yeah, you´re absolutely right: it´s your time, your business, your money, your effort that´s on the line, and you guys have to make the most out of it. Here´s my like and my support as always, Dan. I hope you can feel the huge hug I´m sending you and your crew. Keep on it ;)
It's actually sad to see the 355 go without the engine rebuild. But I do hope to see the car on your channel again one day (after completion). I actually liked the Dyi episodes.
So sad - I am almost at the end of my F355 engine rebuild - well the engine part - I was really looking forward to see your progress and use it as a reference guide - well looks like I will wing it like most things Keep up the great work
good for you guys, bummer for me. I was really wanting to buy that car, after Josh finished his magic on the mechanicals. The prices are really taking off, especially on GTS's. I just saw a 6 Speed GTS go for $300K. Now that is silly money, but indicates what is happening in the 355 market
It's a sad sad day, loved the engine rebuild videos, great to see from a pile of parts to a running engine that sounds amazing. Totally get the point about the pressures of it being someone else's car though.
F355 rebuild is gone away.....let's look at other project hot prospect....it's also an unlikely tear-jerker...don't count'em out yet...Good ones will come along soon Dan...no worry...regards from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia 🇲🇾
Wow...way to break my heart. Such a gorgeous car, I wanted it to get more screen time. At least I'll still have Ratarossa's 512BBi. You guys have any interest in doing an older car like that?
Big sad, I get it, but the 355 is my semi-attainable dream car, seeing prices soar, and one more source of possible transparent repair knowledge kinda stings...
@@anthonyromano6921 very true, keep hearing we are between 4-6 months from housing market tanking and, the suspicious explosions and fires on major farms tied with horrendous US leadership... hate to bet against my country but we're in the shit.
@@normalguysupercar hopefully some plateau will show its face soon, but I imagine those with the money just want to hold things with true value instead of all the intangible market stuff like crypto and stocks.
😢 my dream car. But it's true, DIY isn't going to bring in more views, unless it's real simple DIY. What will help the most is continously bringing in more cars for ppl to see.
You should not stop diy’s as that is the core of the channel plus they will always come back to the next diy. Balance it otherwise, you will lose the regulars and end up only with browsers that will not return once they move on to the next channel. Not sure if you can see who are the frequent viewers and maybe have a survey done to those.
@@normalguysupercar that's in reference to something Will Ferrell once said on Twitter or something. The channel can be slightly inappropriate so I guess I could say it here. In the words of Will Ferrell. Don't blame me. Lol Yoga pants gives me yogurt pants. Just a random off the Wall comment.

A 355 GTS just sold for $300,000 on BaT. I can understand why someone wanted to buy it, even in its current state. Frankly, I don't see the attraction of the 355. Its a low powered car, not particularly well engineered and is frankly mediocre in design in my opinion. But, I grew up with pop-up headlights and the kiddos today love some pop-up headlights. Probably for the same reasons those of us who grew up in the 70's felt when we first saw pop-up headlights. For me, my opinion only, the only thing attractive about the 355 is the sound it makes which is to me the best sounding Ferrari made since 1990. BTW, I've noticed you're super sensitive to comments. Its a theme that runs through nearly all your videos. Commenters will always have an opinion. Even negative comments increase your "social engagement" and if you look at it that way rather than taking things so personally, its a positive. No reaction or apathetic engagement will murder a creator's channel. You always want engagement, preferably positive, but negative is ok too.
Who picked out that god awful song for the middle of your video? Is that the kind of music Ferrari, Lamborghini, Austin Martin, Maserati, Porsche and other High end car owners like to listen to? I seriously doubt that because I am an owner of those high-end cars and That song was horrendous.
@@normalguysupercar When they're sorted out, NOTHING beats a roaring 355! NOTHING! The experience is one of a kind. However, just basic maintenance, the fucking timing belt, changing the fuel line clamps, ect kills it.

Speaking for myself, I like the DIY videos! Especially when you do an exhaust!
Thanks
Still a beautiful car. Not the most powerful, not the fastest but for sure one of the best looking and best sounding Ferraris.
Fully agree. There aren’t many better sounds than an F355 with a Capristo exhaust on it 🙌🏻
Yeah it's definitely the best sounding
Nice to hear Michael Shayes music again. The first time I heard this song in your video like a year ago I went and found a lot of his work.
