Thx for the shout! I didn't mention it in my video, but when I went to rent the GW I had reserved, not only was it down, but there were two more on the lot that also had problems and were un rentable. I'm thinking the failure rate is probably around 50%..
All the things I am seeing with manufacturing problems and material problems have reinforced the idea that I don't need a "new" car. I am thinking if I buy another car, it will be a 70 to 74 Trans Am. A 100% restored example is the same or less expensive than your new Wagoneer. With the bonus of, I can work on it myself at home in my garage. This old fart is not buying any computerized toaster.
It is a shame consumers have to go through anything like this, especially multiple consumers. Sad days that buying a vehicle has become a terrifying experience across the board for so many reasons. I can only hope that quality, craftsmanship, technology, integrity, and morals, etc., can return to the car buying experience, if not, I can see the automotive industry losing out in a bad way.
Resistion of Contract there is a reasonable assurance of Drive-ability it is time to get the Law to help this SHOULD COST AND GET THERE MONEY BACK PLUS COSTS
I would prefer A Telluride or the Palisade( yes i know same truck) over a wagoneer . It was supposed to be their golden ticket full size Suv and it ended being a shitshow of issues
Had 2022 telluride it blew the motor at 28,000 . I had changed the oil three times. KIa finally covered it under warranty, I traded it for a honda Pilot.
I like real Wagoners not these. Like the grand Cherokee went to pot when they got away from the straight six. As a sidenote your former buddy randy hated his Wagoner

That might even be a conservative estimate. Given 100% of the ones at that rental company were unrentable.

If my car is at the dealership for over a year then the car is going to be bought back or the dealer and the auto maker are going to get sued.
