1st Day French Garde Républicaine at Buckingham Palace Changing of the Guard Entente Cordiale

1st Day the French Garde Républicaine marched into the Buckingham Palace forecourt to practice the Changing of the Guard Ceremony. They were joined by the band of the Grenadier Guards.
The first time a non-Commonwealth Country, in this instance France, has taken part in the Changing of the Guard Ceremony. The occasion is the 120th Anniversary celebrations of the Entente Cordiale.
After this practice members of the French Garde Républicaine will take part in the Changing of the Guard Ceremony on 8 April 2024 on the Forecourt of Buckingham Palace. It will be attended by two royal persons. This practice used three persons as 'stand-ins' .
