  • Here's a quick video of my 2015 Challenger R/T+ with a muffler and resonator delete. Sounds great! Much louder in person.
    Let me know if you have any questions and I'll be sure to answer them!
    Enjoy.

    If you want the best sounding rt go catless 3 inch pipe and use a. Hpipe and flowmaster 10s or outlaws and you will have the best sounding 5.7 rt muffler and resonator dont do it justice

    Bro I installed Flowmaster 40 delta, the drone is so bad inside that the 1st week I had headaches. After a week i guess i gotten used to it. But my family and friends dont wanna sit in the car cuz its just to loud for them. Im guessing straight pipes are even louder than what i have. Do you have friends or family complaining? because im debating if i should put the stock back

      Muneeb Pervez honestly bro, I don't think the drone is bad at all. I can carry full conversations with everyone in my car with or without music on. You can hardly tell it's there in my opinion. It's loud when I want it to be loud. Where did you place your Flowmaster 40 delta mufflers? In the middle or the rear(resonators)? I do hear all the time that the drone is absolutely horrible for people who do a mid muffler delete and replace the resonators with aftermarket mufflers. But if that's not the case, I'm not really sure of why the drone would be so bad for you.
      Hope you get it figured out!

      I hope you did not go down the path of putting the stock exhaust setup back on your R/T, I went straight pipe with my Challenger R/T and the drone was pretty loud at start and it was something I had never experienced before because this was my first time straight piping an exhaust, but after a while(2 months give or take), the pipe broke in and now it sounds freaking loud, its loud, yet its also deep and I do get the crackles and pops and bangs every now and then and I have gotten used to the drone to point where I dont even notice it, no headaches whatsoever and the rasp had gone after 2 months. Sticking to straight pipes, but should be installing Flowmaster Outlaw mufflers soon to give it some tone.

    Hey what's up, have you experienced any torque or power loss with full straight pipes?

    • @ChrisIzGee
      @ChrisIzGee  7 років тому

      If I have, Its very, very minimal. Nothing noticeable at all.

    is this the 8 speed auto?
    My car is the 8 speed but I have powerstick mufflers and no resonators, yours seems to be louder but I like the deep low growl the mufflers give my car!
    Nice ride though.

      JustaslowRT yes it's the 8 speed auto. I've actually be considering mufflers to achieve that deep growl.

    Does this affect back pressure?

    • @ChrisIzGee
      @ChrisIzGee  7 років тому +2

      It's very hard to tell. Some say it does and some say its a myth. It's widely debated, but yet there isn't much proof at all out there showing loss of power / back pressure. Nothing noticeable though if there is.

      I have an RT as well and straight piped mine, I think I lost some low end torque because of no back pressure and mpg's. I've added Flowmaster Super 10's since then and it's seems back to normal but I've not sure. I love the way straight pipes sounds though. I almost wanna go back, lol.

    I bet daily driving it is a bitch 😪 how much mpg do you get??

    • @ChrisIzGee
      @ChrisIzGee  6 років тому

      It's surprisingly quiet inside. Drone isn't horrible like you'd expect. In town its like 14mpg, but freeway is more like 28mpg with MDS on.
