Not sure if you're familiar but back in the late 80's Flowers was kicked out of the Odinic Rite when they found out about his membership in the Temple of Set. The OR still to this day has a major grudge against him as I noticed in their online forums around 8 years ago. His Setian and quasi-satanic beliefs seems to taint everything he writes.
