- So this is the boat that inflatable boat fishing. Com kindly donated to me it's called the hydrus here is the what I set it up for my fishing trips for all your inflatable boat fishing needs please visit there website www.inflatable...
It really dose have everything you'll need for a day afloat
Great video, it's worth putting something under one tube when pumping up the keel (like the fuel tank), it allows the keel to inflate centrally, stops the valve moving, and reduces the risk of damage on rough ground. 👍
Hi Rhys, cracking video of setting the Hydrus up. Many thanks for giving it a great review. One thing I would stress though is the importance of making sure the tubes are inflated to the maximum pressure for each one that's stated in the owner's manual and on the transom plate. Those £15 pumps are good for the money and it does look like you have the tubes inflated well but to ensure they are at the correct PSI you really do need a manometer pressure gauge. The air deck being the most important 10PSI. Other than that all good, looking forward to seeing how the trip went.
Oh and I do have one or two 3.3m air decks and 4.0m ally decks still available this week and yes I'm happy to do a deal for your subscribers
Thanks Carlo I best get saving for a pump then 🙈🙈
@@FishHunterUK the one you have is alright don't get me wrong. Just if when using the foot pump to finish them off, get yaself a Manometer off ebay for about a fiver so you can check the pressure before going out. You'll be surprised how much better performance you get out of the boat if the tubes are inflated to the max instead of the 'thumb pressure' test
Hi carlo nice one m8
Just watched your video in the nic of time, needing a pump for my new boat and see that you use a wee cheapie and it does the job, didn't want to pay £100+ for a pump. thanks mate.
Great video. Your right that is a nice looking boat.
Lovely bit of kit looks well designed
Thanks Harry. Forever working on it
Great video. More ppl should make video with their inflatable boat.
She’s a gem 💎
As I was watching this brilliant video, my new Hydrus 5 arrived by courier. Can't wait to get it set up.
Fantastic boat. Great size for coastal & estuary fishing 🎣
I’m glad to see you use a cheep pump. I’m getting my sea pro at the end of the month and was wondering about them.
I wanna see that 2 stroke go, I bet she’s quick! Let’s have a listen!
Very interesting. It would be good if you could do a video of fitting the engine and all the gear then getting the boat down to the water. 👍👍
Definitely need some microphones mate got a little bit quite in some places. And still waiting on that call. 🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟 I’ll comment on the place video here. What a epic day you 2 had top rods. Keep up the good work mate your doing well. Give us a shout on ya next video 👍👍👍👍👍
Very informative video. I had a kayak but now wish id known about these. Awesome
nice fishing boat dinghy
If u not tried orphad Ness in Suffolk you should try fishing there of shingle bank straight to deepish water 😉
Hi Wayne do you mean Orford ness? I live in Suffolk and would like to go for fishing on my Sib but I don’t know many places to launch.
I would be happy if you could give me some locations or tips please?
Cheers
@@mmoon1860 yea mate orphad Ness near Alburgh, you should b able to launch off the shingle bank or even of Albough beach where the fishing boats launch, I'm from Suffolk mate near beccles but living in Southend at the mo, if u catch anything on your sib let me know, I got a 12 lb bass of Southwold beach 5 years ago and u could launch from there aswell mate, good 🍀 luck
@@roguewaynednb excellent mate thank you again 😊
Yes I will do but at the moment we are in lockdown I live in Ipswich so I don’t think we are allowed to go that far.
But soon the lockdown is over I will try those places 😃
Stay safe
Nice rig Rhys...
Nice one...I row at the rowing club...
an 18 volt leaf blower/vacuum is really fast for blowing up tubes.
This is Shoreham by the lifeboat station. Looks like a great spot for access to the sheltered harbour. How do you use this car park for setting up and launching? Do you have to be a member of the canoe club? Thanks.
Neat, very neat, unfortunately i'd get sick on a rowing boat on the Serpentine.....I HAVE been sick on a rowing boat! 🤢
Loving the vids keep it up from Dungeness 😁🎣
Interesting video I would defo keep it blown up save time but not space tight lines
Yeah it's finding the right balance Liz
Hi Rhys, can you stand up and fish, on a air deck ? and where did you get the fish finder holder from please mate..
Nice
What sort of wind speed or weather should you be looking at going out in one of those. Obviously a nice day 😂 but like it could still be choppy.
I’m thinking of getting one of these as I have a trailer and RIB now. But I like the idea of getting one of those rolled up in the garage after cleaning it.
As long as its off shore I'll go up to 12/15 mph if its on shore 7/8 you'll probably be fine with a bit more but that's me lol
Hi Thomas, give me a shout if you'd like some details on the Hydrus. I myself wouldn't go out with winds anything over 13-15mph as it gets a bit choppy and not much fun battling against the waves.
Nice video
Would like to purchase one of these so o can go fishing with my big brother
Which one will be suitable for 2 people 350 lbs n an outboard witch size n 200 lbs extra ?
I think a 370 would do you both fine. Get in touch, I have a few left still. Carlo
Great informative video Rhys. Can you tell me what type of fish finder mount that is... looks like just what I’m after.
Cheers - Jamie
Nice vid rhys but you left out the most important spec on the boat!
How many imagrants can you get in it???
😂 😂 😂 😂
Don’t let Carlo see that comment!!, he’ll Chuck you off IBF group!!!, he did me😂😂😂
@@oldmanfrancis8528 why is that how he came over?
@@peteramberley9952 😂😂😂
I seem to be here before a title😂🎣
😂 😂 U was hah
Thats a light boat! Ours is a 2 man lift!
So is mine lol I'm just a machine 🤣🤣🤣🤣
You ever fish Yorkshire coast
good old shoreham lol
There are plenty second hand used once only inflatables with low hour engines will be being sold off at auctions soon I would imagine unless there going to have the engines crushed and the boats shredded. Keep an eye out for border agency public actions.
I really like to know where can I get the fish finder leg/contraption to attach it to the transom?
That shoreham?
I'd love summit like that. What's Carlos website called
It's in the dsicrption mate inflatable boat fishing. Com
Hi mate. My website is www.inflatableboatfishing.com
You can get them pumps what your on about for £45 that's not going t9 break the bank
Great video ! would a 10hp outboard do ok and what size rib are you using now.
Yes mate that will be fine you'll still get on the plane with a 10
hi do you have a link for the electric pump ? i got zodiac cadet 310 and it nightmare to pump up
Nice floating device, did you catch any fish on it
😂 Yes the video is on its way
Nice one guys! What part of the UK do you fish at?
We live in the southeast mate but fish all over the south and west coast this year we plan much more travel if u have any suggestions please let us know
Hello, where is this place
Do you fish devon at all ?
Hi there rhys thank you for doing that just one more thing do you stand up in it to spend a penny m8 and what's it like to stand up in it does it move sturdy enough do stand up m8
Yes u do mate in to a bucket then chuck it over the side
Thank you for that rhys cheers m8
How much did the boat cost
It didn't it was gifted to me from inflatable boat fishing. Com
Hi Dawn, they start at £999 for the 3.3m air deck
Hi mate have you made any sea bass vids going tomorrow just need to know some rigs for it
Yes mate thers a few on here
whats the pump you use please ,
Will the pump work in reverse to deflate the rib. nice bit of kit though
No mate it dosent
Try a cheap e bay leaf blower, the one handed battery powered version with the rubber snout. These will inflate super fast and you can transfer the snout to the inlet and suck all the air out of the boat too. You will need a separate gauge and maybe another pump to bring the pressure up to the final amount though.
Hi Rhys good video.is that seagull s--t on the top of your hooddy😁😁😁 lol
😂 😂 😂 No its mud haha
Yeah boi
Not a good surface to blow it up
Not the best but its all we had
Yeah I started to panic when I saw that rock underneath. Always a good idea to clear a good space when on terrain like that. Especially when you need to step inside from time to time.
watch that boat on your car exhaust
Hi what size is your boat and engine please
The boat is 3.7m and the engine is a 15hp 2stroke mate
@@FishHunterUK thanks mate… would a 10HP be suitable for a 3.6m boat with two adults at sea ? Or would you say I’d need a 15HP min ?
@@mavicone5845 I now have a 10 for mine it will be fine bud should still get on the plain with that no problem at all
Hello
