VW has really fallen in terms of interior and sound.
Interior is comparable to previous generation Skoda - from 10 years ago, which is unbelievable to me. Mk7 set the bar really high..
I just wish the seats from the 8 R were in the 7/7.5.
Interiorwise quality in the mk7 is a bit better but design wise the interior is miles ahead.
I prefer the mk8 interior much more

Only 420 hp? In Italy there's a tuning workshop that can bring a Golf 8 R easily to 470 - 500 hp :)
Uhh we have in the netherlands 1 with 550 and 1 with 600 hybrid turbo so this is just a stage 2 i think

A friend of mine drove a tuned gti for >140k km without any major problems. It’s key to change oil more often and to not turn of the engine directly after heavy load

I've noticed I push my right foot down when car in a video starts to accelerate.
Honda K20 sounds much better by far....
That launch control is so dull. A lot of clutch slip followed by weirdly slugish shift into 2nd and an early upshift to 3rd. I really don't like the MK8 Golf, it's baffling to me how they ended up making a worse car than it's predecessor

@@1bojanbojanno, it is not. I have stage 1 golf 8R with just 520Nm and similiar power and it goes sub 3.5 0-100 and 11.3 quarter mile. But my TCU is tuned.

This has to be tuned they don't come out with 430hp factory the Mercedes A45 S is the most powerful 4 cylinder u can buy at the moment. Golf has to be tuned
