@@susangallagher1247 They were like the diamond dog era Bowie the way they sang about seedy nights and drugs etc. Always remember the animal nitrate intro in that rundown council block with Bernard Butlers swirling guitar riff opening the song in 93. That's when I knew the British bands were making a new wave of music. Cracking memories.
Que parvoíce . Na altura , há muitos anos sim. A banda remodelou se e muito bem. São optimos tal como sao. São Suede. Vida que segue. O passado é isso mesmo ..
@@mariliareis7075 Jesus! Take a step back and wind your neck in. Bernard wrote all their songs at this time. He was an integral part of the group along with Bret. They both made Suede what they are now. Chill the fuck out ❤
Se não me engano o Neil tem um problema sério de saúde desde esta época e se agravou até a saída dele agora pq não consegue acompanhar mais, pkrém não divulgaram o problema de saúde.
I met Brett in Atlanta before their show in the first half of the 90's. I loved their musical style...maybe not all of the lyrics. Before that night, I always thought he was flamboyantly gay....another thing I did not support. But, it became clear that evening that he was a very straight and intensely masculine man. His onstage persona was an act for the masses
His sexuality was discussed in the musical press at the time and it was well known that he wasn't gay. Strange, no, bizarre that you disapprove of other people's sexual orientation. Why is this? What's it got to do with you?
Outstanding song, truly Outstanding 👏
You never get tired of Suede ❤
Never forget watching this at home not long after my 16th birthday. Was a massive technohead before this. Changed my life.
Best TOTP performance ever.
I mean it’s not but whatever
That would be Julian Cope "I Gotta Walk", but this is effing great too.
Brett in this video is driving me mad😍
Me too - the floppy hair and that midriff..........!!
Fit AF

01:53 The guitar pick ran away!!!
Brett had the best hair!
Indeed!! And the best midriff!!!
He tenido la gran suerte de verlos este año en Granada y están en como en el 92, pura fuerza. Brett lo dió todo en el escenario ❤❤
Ya lo necesitabamos este video en full HD pero sigue sonando increíble ✨❣️
Show rapazes parabéns 👏👏👏🍻

I'm straight but God damn is he good looking
Driving me mad desde 1993 🥵
Brett has the beauty of an actor.
why does he look like a woman here
This performance was the start of britpop and the slow demise of grunge
honestly, suede was singing about doing H and buttfucking, they were more grunge than Nirvana. Just more attitude and better melodies and guitar work.
@@stillwaitingforblackmetalr2503 no they weren't grunge.
@@ajaxt9333 Indeed, proof that male glamour was alive and well in the '90's!!

I thought @mariliareis7075's response was perfectly civil and reasonable.
@@gretagreebling Obrigada. Mas ,realmente tem que se fazer justiça aos elementos da banda que ralam há muito
Tried two guitarists to replace him, but still impossible.😢

First time on TOTP?
what's wrong with the collars on his shirt (fab)

형.......너무 섹시한거 아니오?
Is Brett doing the floss at the start?
He was always a man ahead of the times!
Swing your pants!

Have a word 🤦🏼♂
You only thought he was gay, because you don't approve.
