Accidentally turned off built-in stabilisation, so video might be a little shaky. Anyway hope you will like this video
Also, supermarket where i recorded prices is "Spar", most expensive in Lugansk, which i did't know at that moment

That was a high level vlog, of the nowadays city of Lugansk; Russia.
Those prices from that supermarket, inside the city of Lugansk; show a great disparity between the price for the «essential basket» and the price of any considered non-essential grocery good. Something that is a consequence, of a country's economy, being under the stress of either a natural catastrophe or a prolonged medium intensity military conflict. Yet, for a minor Russian federation, so close to the frontline; it is a blessing, that the «essential basket» remains so price friendly; for those who are sacrificing themselves; in order to one day, normalize one of the main frontiers, of the greater Russian Federation.
Still; you should've interviewed a dog or a cat. To get their opinion about that same city, as well.

I remember when I was talking with one guy from Lugansk like more than ten years ago, actually few years before the hostilities started. And I asked him how to pronounce Zorya correctly, is it with clear "o" or that "o" is pronounced as "a". He told me that "they" say "o" and "we" say "a". In the northern Russian dialect(mainly in Vologda) people generally pronounce "o" as "o", not as "a". Ukrainians speak with southern Russian dialect(when they speaking Russian), where there is no such peculiarity. But it is interesting that they still say "zorya", not "zarya". Hmm...

Perhaps most Serbs support Russia but Western NGO groups in Serbia are many and are raising new generations of young people (leaders of the future) that will owe their allegiance and personal finacial wealth to Western powers. Nothing is being done to stop this and so Serbia will fall, just like rest of Eastern Europe. What is even more surprising is the West European political class, again, put into place via various US NGO programs. One only needs to look at people in charge of EU, never having to stand for elections yet rule over EU and dictate all internal and external policies. Is that what Serbian leadership strives to be part of?

@@TimMountjoy-zy2fd Hello from Lugansk itself. First of all, distinguishing between Russian and Ukrainian is near impossible task. Language, culture, religion, DNA, none of them can show a difference. Secondly, asking locals about it is considered rude because we're all highly mixed and have relatives on "both sides". Even pre-ATO, giving a binary choice of Russian/Ukrainian would be considered as an attempt to separate the two and confront them with each other, which is unnatural in these parts. Third, if you ever visited, you could notice that there's barely a border between Lugansk and Russia. We commonly crossed it back and forth just to abuse economy differences and get stuff for cheap. Same goes for families. We have relatives right across the border, so it wasn't a rare thing to spend a weekend "abroad" celebrating grandma's birthday. With such deep connections and no Ru/Ua distinguishment you might see how Kiev's ATO was easily felt across the border.
My mother has roots here while my father's blood runs back to western Ukraine (Chernovtsy). We had no troubles with western Ukraine nor Ukrainians (until 2014 insanity of course), so if asked for a survey back then I would proudly say I'm Ukrainian. After all, I was born and raised here. I still consider myself Ukrainian regardless of passport, but at the same time, I now clearly emphasize that I don't have any connection to modern Kiev and what Ukraine turned into.
TL;DR Being Ukrainian doesn't automatically mean you supported Maidan, government overthrow or ATO.

It was a great idea to come to Luhansk, and it also confirms for me a contradictory thought: the city was very lucky to escape the enormous destruction of the war, which affected Marioupol, but the consequence is that it has been somewhat forgotten in terms of its economic development - which is logical because the first priority is reconstruction. I'm a Canadian and it awesome to see that the liberation of the Donesk and Lugansk region is going so well.
Can you please tell your fellow citizens that the average Canadian who is not brainwashed by the media, does not support the Ukrainian regime and that we are very sorry that the Armed Forces of Canada were ordered to train Azov battalion scum back in the late 2010s and that Canadian donated Leopard tanks were also used in the Kursk Incursion?
In this major moment of history Canada for the first time acted as the bad guy here and this is truly embarrassing at best and reprehensible at worse.
