I owned a white Spirit R/T and my new neighbor has a white Daytona IROC R/T that I help him with sometimes. Numidia is my local track and the last time I was at Beaver was with my '87 WO2 Regal. Beaver Bob just got his Kenne Bell Marauder and teched me in while calling my car a pos :) I busted his balls back saying that the right lane was better down there by Centralia. "You should go back down there and light it on fire". My girl thought he was serious at first and we laughed our asses off. Great guy. If you want to 60' anything on the cheap, I've been reading car mags since I was a kid and there was a street racing Turbo Regal from Woodward Ave. that they called "The Gray Ghost". One trick he used was copying the 1969 GM RPO V75 called "liquid tire chain" and use VHT or Tracbite on a momentary switch during the burnout. I copied that on my 4th gen with a trailblazer washer bottle (two sprayers, no t's) and would pull 1.7's on beat snow tires at 23 psi. The usual were 2.1-2.4's and I'd mostly get the Bye Run bracket racing because of my rt's. I just sold most of my cars and am hoping to work on my first 3rd gen when I can to be an L33/T-56 mid 12 cruiser, but coal just hit $500/ton locally, so that might not happen and my friends are in denial about what is coming next for people like us. I hope to make it out on the 636 just as a spectator and maybe go fishing in Sunbury this season. Any chance you know DJ that SRT-4 swapped the first gen Neon from the area a couple years back?
