Genuine perspective? He just has a different one... His country is still very much in racial disharmony it’s not as if he came from some utopia and is trying to show us the way... we have a centuries long history of systemic racism and counting in this country, apartheid lasted 70 years....
Respectfully I'd have to disagree...only because i have proof. I am a 8 year veteran, black man. Met my wife while i served in South Korea at the time. She is from the Eastern Cape. We've been married going on 7 years. Since I've had a better understanding of what my country and it's crimes to it's people has done, i feel different...my wife did experience apartheid too while young. But she doesn't understand of what I'm trying to explain to her. At all...She talks about "using the system." If she only knew the whole system needs to be changed
I am a South African and a few years older than Trev. What most people do not understand is that Apartheid in terms of the legislations were stopped but in the minds of people it still carried/carries on.That is the reason you would find pockets of our society still not being able to support our national sports teams and would rather opt to support the visitors.Apartheid is not a switch you can turn on and off.It is a mindset for eg...We have started to prosecute white people that use racially charged words. It has carried on for way to long in a country with a 90 percent black majority

Black people in America have always been in America and the Tribe of Judah who lived in Africa were brought to America. Some Black Americans were taken to Europe, Africa, and other places. Look up, Kurimeo Ahau and Torah to The Tribes. They show the books, and they aren't even black so no reason to lie, for anyone who tries to say this is "Afrocentric". We already praised Yeshua but over the years, we adopted some of the practices of the Mongoloids living in America and the ones in Africa adopted some of the practices of the aboriginals from over there. We are Negroes, they are Africans. It's not the same just as Caucasians and Anglo Saxons aren't the same. Doesn't mean we aren't black but we're different and the ones in America used to have straight hair and wavy hair (many still do but they don't show them on television) so, we have mixed with each other, but the fact still remains we are from America and we're the real Jews. Look it up.

Trevor Noah is smart, intelligent and inspiring he's literally beyond a comedian, God ddnt just give him one talent but he's bright on every aspect of life, am also impressed by his logical sense.
Goat - my point is the kardashians were born into money and a lot of the fame probably comes from their dad (now their mom ig?) from being a gold medalist in the olympics, the OJ trials, and a sex tape, so yea I’d say very little talent has to do w the kardashians fame. Just recognition. Trevor didn’t have any of that. All he had was hard work, smarts, charisma, a sense of humor, etc. So if that’s called talentless just bc you don’t agree w his political views that’s fine. Let’s just stop talking in circles idk how else to spell it out for you.
Well again a stupid remark from a comedian who thinks his anologies can disguise the level of stupidity he possesses. HOW CAN YOU TREAT POLITICS AND SPORTS the same way when they are governed by different policies, rules and procedures?😢 sports is basically entertainment while politics is serving your people or citizens or community in the most efficient and effective way possible to ensure that your roles and responsibilities as an incumbent are fulfilled. So should we also treat his past incendiary hateful tweets as sports and replace him from the Daily show with someone else?
@@goat8434 Of course sports and politics are governed differently but it's the idea of putting the same energy and support that we put into sports into politics.
@@sheritaflemings6623 Treating politics like sports sounds good but the only part you are supportive of is the energy and drive people should put into politics, not the rest of the stuff that comes with treating anything as complicated and nuanced as politics like it's a red team blue team sports game. The actual problems with American modern politics stem from people treating politics like sports already. They choose a team and they tow the team's line, if something is considered against the team's best interest people instantly turn against it, and when someone on the team does something that causes bad press or worse, the rest of the team tries to rationalize and justify or brush over the issues to protect their team. The problem already is that our people are peer-pressured by those who align with them politically, to not speak against any of the agenda of their 'team' and calling people derogatory names if they go against one of the policies. It encourages hive-mind cultlike behavior where we give our team our unconditional support, and we are discouraged to think for ourselves for fear of being ousted by our friends for not fitting into the team agenda. For example, conservative people defending Trump and trying to brush over the "Grab em by the *******" comment, or liberals defending Hillary Clinton on her 30,000 deleted e-mails and and pretending like she wasn't going on talk shows and openly admitting she orchestrated assassination on Gaddafhi which got 4 Americans killed in the Embassy, and now has black Africans being traded on open-air slave markets by Arab oligarchs.

growing up in Apartheid gives him a genuine perspective on what racism and politics really are. A foreign perspective is refreshing.
And if y’all didn’t know, now you know. Congressional bureaucracy is gonna be controlled by conservatives for the next 50 years
This was a phenomenal interview. That talk about consent, alone, was amazing; it's so rare to hear a talk about consent like this, open and willing to listen. I was absolutely floored. Absolutely phenomenal, I adore Trevor so much ♡♡♡
Haven't even started watching but you know when Trevor Noah is in the house we going to get some wisdom 🔥🔥🔥
Its "We are going to get some wisdom"
@@t-roe421 You're one of those dudes people talk about when they say his boyfriend gets drunk and beats his ass. Figuratively and then literally.
facts!
Trevor Noah is smart, intelligent and inspiring he's literally beyond a comedian, God ddnt just give him one talent but he's bright on every aspect of life, am also impressed by his logical sense.
Goat - how did no talent get him to where he is? 🤔
Goat - Kardashians were born into being rich and famous, Trevor worked for what he has. There’s a difference
Goat - So then how did he get to where he was if he wasn’t talented? Its a simple question.
Goat - crazy how he got this far then, guess there’s still hope for you
When Trevor said that people in America should swap the way we treat sports with the way we treat politics... it blew my mind! So true!
Much added, one of the best jewels of this interview!
@@goat8434 would you look at the dumbass who's actually calling somebody else a dumbass but the real dumbass doesn't understand what the person he called a dumbass that's talking about. Dumbass.
I reallllly like him. He's such a smart, kind soul. We need more people like Trevor.
