I live in the very south of the Isle of Man. Our main farmer in the village has been breeding Highland cattle for a few years and has a handsome herd, including bull. It's lovely to see how many people stop to watch this wonderful lot just doing what they do. The farmer herds many of them along the roads some miles up the mountain to some more distant pastures in the summer, with a few going off to the fields around the lighthouse on the south eastern tip of the island. This lighthouse pasture involves driving them past the ancient castle in Castletown, and they all make a very picturesque scene at those times. In fact last year the BBC even featured them.
Love this video because my dad who was a lobster fisherman in Nova Scotia decided that land was more safe than the Atlantic and moved us to a B.C. ranch. This is where I seen my first Scottish highlander! Never forgot how beautiful they were!
This bull reminded me of one joke..... Young man runs up to a farmer and asks him if he could run over his field, because he has to catch a bus that leaves in 10 minutes. And the old wise farmer said: of course you can, and if my bull sees you, you will even catch the bus that leaves in 2 minutes :D
Three bulls hear the news of a new bull arriving. Two bulls say, " When he gets here he will have to find his own cows, we are not sharing. The third bull says nothing. So the day finally comes for the new bull to arrive. The bulls see the biggest truck they have ever seen. The gate drops and the biggest bull they have ever seen emerges. They have an instant change of heart. Both say, " You know I think I can share my cows after all . " To their amazement the third bull tears out into the pasture pawing and snorting. The two say, " What in the world are you doing, that bull will tear you to pieces. " The third bull says, " I'm not worried about that, I just want him to know I'M A BULL... "
@@leaschmitt2496 Well he didn't want to be mistaken for a cow. It's a stupid joke. I know a real bull can tell a cow from a bull. Please I beg your pardon.

I'm very new to the channel, so IDK what you have or haven't done or if you don't like cattle dogs. I thought it couldn't hurt to ask. My neighbors up the road have two that are trained to run and get behind the cows, but not touch them.
