    Short Project Description
This project showcases how you can build your own small Wind Turbine Generation System (WTGS) (or kleine (baby) Windkraftanlage in german, hence the name bWKA). The Power output will be around 50W for 6m/s wind velocity at a rotaional speed of around 800 rpm.
This project is split into 6 sections:
    [Part 1] - theoretical part
    (1) The basic aerodynamic foundations of a wind turbine rotor
    - What are the aerodynamic principles on a turbine blade? (Aerodynamics)
    - What is the MIL (minimal induced loss) design condition?
    (2) How to design an optimal (MIL) wind turbine rotor using Prof. Drelas (MIT) XROTOR code
    [Part 2] - practical part
    (3) How to CAD draw/design a rotor in OnShape
    - Using sketches to draw profile sections
    - Creating 3D Splines
    - Lofting a 3D rotor blade
    - Reinforcing the rotor with Carbon (or Glass) Reinforcements (mainly rods).
    (4) How to manufacture it using 3D prints and reinforcements
    (5) How to build it and piece it together
    (6) How to test it and analyze the data
    - Overview of Electronics (Teensy 4.1, KISS ESC 32A)
    - Introduction to the used Code
    - Data Logging and Analysis of Rotational Speed, Voltage, Temperature etc.

I am building a small scale wind turbine for my university project. The question I am interested in, is how to figure out the lift coefficient, power and rpm values to put into my calculation. How do lift coefficient and power that I want to generate effect the calculation explicitly? Does increasing the rpm put much more stress on the blades? How to quantify all these effects and decide which values I need?
The diameter of my wind turbine is 35 cm. I don't think it can generate much power, maybe not even 5W? I am scared to put too much rpm, to not break the blades, and can't figure out the lift coefficient value, because when I put 0.7 it says that it stalls?
Thanks in advance! Loved the video!

Hey, hope you're still in the process of the project.
It's a multidisciplinary optimization problem: Strucutral integrity (low RPM, big blades) vs. aerodynamic efficiency (small blades/high aspect ration, mid RPM). Generally, you want to have a balanced design - just stay with acceptable blade aspect ratio (10-15) and keep RPM low.
