It's the immense sound waves that caused the shatter. You can use a much smaller piece with higher velocity and achieve the same thing it takes only a small chip! Trust me the great way to enter places when you're not supposed to LOL
if you increase the compression ratio of the engine and hit the ignition point it worked in a good one, the difference for motors called flex here in brazil is basically this, an intermediate compression ratio and the electronic injection center reprogram the motor point according to with the mixture in the tank

Jet fuel is part of the diesel family, and 100ll is with the gasoline family. Both have different methods to burn fuel but 100ll is mostly run on piston engine aircraft like Cessnas, and Pipers etc.
It'll run if you change the fuel filters and the fuel air sensor. I had an old aerostar van and started making homemade moonshine ( I got the approval forms stamped from the government). That van was a rocket on the 180 proof. Switching from gas to alcohol clogs everything up, because the alcohol cleans the old crap from the system.

Isopropyl alcohol will work but it burns hotter and dries out rubber hoses, gaskets, seals etc.
