- 3 Huge Locomotives On Over Powered Train That Gets Longer During The Chase & Abandoned Railroad Spur Reflection With Chessie System Photos. Indiana And Ohio Railway Near Wilmington, Ohio And Into Loveland, Ohio On Ex Baltimore And Ohio Railroad Tracks. Pictures Of Boxcars On Lumber Spur & Bike Trail Railroad Crossing. Both Sides Of Train.
These big locomotives are ex BNSF and are on the Indiana & Ohio Railway Midland Sub. The chase starts south of Wilmington, Ohio and goes to Loveland, Ohio. The train started out very short but by the time it got to Blanchester, Ohio it added an empty lumber car from a customer and picked up a cut of covered hopper cars that were sitting on a siding east of Blanchester.
My favourite town along the line is Loveland. I lived there back in the mid 1980s in 2 different locations and both had a view of the tracks. The town has grown substantially since I lived there and the photos that I include show it. On my pictures I wrote 1986 with a question mark but I believe they were probably taken in 85 because I believe that is the year that the caboose was last used on this line. I found a few pictures of trains with cabooses on this line that were taken the same time as the pictures in this video.
The lumber company siding was abandoned years ago and removed except for a small piece of track that I show. This track was at one time the connecting track from the Pennsylvania Railroad to the Baltimore And Ohio Railroad. After the Pennsylvania was removed this track was used for unloading boxcars and flatcars of lumber for Nesbit in Loveland. I remember seeing these boxcars here and took the pics when I lived nearby. One of the pics shows the conductor stopping traffic on Loveland Avenue while they were switching Nesbit. These pictures are very historic and I have more. I remember when the railroad diamond was removed and I actually filmed it being removed in the mid 70s but I have no idea what happened to the film.
I was rail fanning with my friends Scott, @1960gambit and Joey, @AdventureswithJoeyBoats. Best radio frequencies for this area are 161.220 for IORY road channel and 452.9375 for EOT. Which location in this video was your favourite? Should I include more of my pictures in future videos to show before and after?
Filmed Tuesday, July 23, 2024 in 1080p with 60fps. Thanks for watching!

Glad you enjoyed it
More exciting trains in Ohio and some nice areas to watch them at,
great classic railroad memories, the amazing live action pets with
dogs, cats and chickens, the nice music slide shows and as always
until next time thank you Jaw Tooth.🇺🇲🚂🚃🚃🚂🇺🇲
JT yes add your old photos . The history of your locations is part of the appeal of your channel.
Thanks! Will do
Thank you for the history lesson on Loveland and the historical photos, JT. I love the vintage Chessie locomotive and the freight cars! They are so cool 😎! We're you and Scott friends when you were kids, since you both grew up there? 😄😄😄😄❤❤❤❤
Thank you very much! I met Scott about 10 years or so ago at a train club
@JawTooth You're very welcome, JT! I was just curious about you and Scott. 🙂
Hello jaw tooth my name is carroll boots and I am a big fan of your channel. I like watching a lot of bnsf and csx trains videos each and every day because it is fun a lot. 👍🚂
Thanks for watching!
😮 D & M! I've not seen them boxcars since the early 80's in Northern Michigan.
Interesting day, great old pictures! Thanks, Jaw Tooth.
Nice job catching Those trains jaw tooth.
Amazing videos jaw tooth keep up the good work
Great video JT. Loved the old pictures.👍🏼
Thanks 👍
Thanks for all your dedicated time to bring all these trains to our phones and TVs, especially all the history and knowledge to. There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes to get the videos to all of us railfans. Great entertainment!
Agree 👌
Also , waiting around for 2 hours, or more for a train to come around 😳
Thanks for watching!
I really enjoyed this video - it was as much a documentary as a train fan video. The old pictures of the line were a nice touch, along with your personal recollections of the town and the state of the railroad 50 years ago. Interesting how some things change, and other things still remain.
Thank you very much!
Hi J.T. Marc from Iowa. Just wanted to say how much I love your knowledge from so many different aspects of RR. I really like when you tell stories about past and growing up around trains. Don't ever stop.
The old pictures were a nice touch.
Thanks Steve 😊
Your videos are getting better JT, great relaxing entertainment!
Thanks 👍
Great old pictures from the old days JT ! You should make a video about it or even better
a book. It is very inspiring for us modelling fans, on the other side of the big pond.
Many warm greetings from Belgium!
Thanks for the idea! Thanks for watching!
Love your vids ! I myself live in the area where the Bessemer Railroad used to run but now it's long since been bought out by Canadian National Railroad and though they used to still run the old Orange and Black paint scheme along the rail lines I no longer see them running anymore as they've either been scrapped and/or repainted and it's such a sad shame. My hometown of Albion,Pa. Used to have a massive railyard between Albion and Cranesville but most of the rail sidings and all of the buildings and other stuff has long been ripped up and torn down. My old friend Bob Rice used to be an engineer on the old Bessemer and though I miss him since he died,he told me so many rail stories of the old Bessemer line that I'll never forget.
Yes, I do love looking at the flash back pictures in your videos. Many thanks, Brian.
Glad you like them!
Brian? Surprise everyone and come to California.... The loop and cajon pass is waiting for you!!! 👍🙏
Maybe one day!
JT, thanks for the chase and great locations. Great job and history lesson as well
Glad you enjoyed it
Always a great RR show!!! Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
Those google earth overviews makes me feel like I'm there, excellent.. beautiful scenery plus rail, and History!🤔mate Im jealous..Love the beat🎼🎵. all the best from Oz..blessed be😀🙏
Many thanks!
Thanks for catching the I&O today. It was short, but still a good train! The tour of Loveland was fantastic, too. I always love seeing your pets. ❤ Be careful about putting the chicken in with the others. Make sure it's completely healed up or they'll kill it. Watch it for a while, too, because often the flock won't like strange birds! I've seen it many times. Thanks again, JT! 😄😄😄😄❤❤❤❤
It sure was interesting hearing about some places you lived during your childhood days. Beautiful locomotives and scenery and some history. One headlight was out on the first locomotive. ❤ Sweet little kitten. Thanks again Mr JT for a fantastic video. Take care.❤😊
Glad you enjoyed it
Very cool pictures you have, thanks for sharing!

"God makes a great Conductor for our life's train"
Thanks again!
three engines and four cars? yes, over powered train. lol
Yes for sure until they picked up another cut of cars later in the video
yes. lol
Got a CCET-related question for you, with regards to it's future under the new ownership, has anything been said about updating its fleet with more recent engines and retiring ones that're closer to the end of their service lives than the beginning?I keep thinking of the engines sitting at the Y not hauling anything that is just taking up space that could be better utilized......
Temporary red flag on last car gave it away. Going to pickup the next cut of cars to complete the long manifest of cars.
L😂L 👍 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Mid 70's and on was a big rush to plant bike trails. Here on Cape Cod they got almost all the rail. Great photos.
Really cool 😎 video and vintage Chessie footage, nice BNSF run-through power!🛤🚂
Thank you very much!
Thank you so mich for the anniversary shout out. She was so surprised and full of joy. You made her day, I can't thank you enough... and as you always say... but wait, there's more😅

Happy birthday!🎉🎁
Nice catches Brian👏
@@gaborandrejszki2553 thanks 😊
@@JawTooth Hi Brian 🤝 You're welcome 🙂
I grew up next to a train track. Spent a lot of time playing around a train track. lol. My grandmother was post master and the post office was attached to our house. She would hang the mail bag on the hook for the train to grab it. Sometimes she let me do it. 🙂. Had an interesting childhood. 😊
Oh yeah. Overpowered but guess they have way more train to add along the way. Oh yeah. A bunch more cars. Picked up one more.
Love the pics. Remember some of those business names from the 70s and 80s.
Pets are looking good. That chicken is a Rhodie Red isn't she? Used to pick eggs when I was a teenager. Rhodies are very defensive about their eggs. Got pecked a lot on that job. LOL
Have a good day. Thanks for the video. Nice to enjoy with my morning coffee. Take care and drive safe.
Grace
Good morning, JT!
Morning!
Goood morning jt
Merci beaucoup pour cette très belle vidéo ! ✨✨✨✨✨👍🙏
Three locomotives to pull four cars! That should be enough power! 😄😄
You got that right!
Thanks for the pictures. They're informative and really neat!
Glad you like them!

Good morning Jaw Tooth from Midland, Texas.
Thanks for sharing the old pics
Glad you like them!
Good morning everyone 🚂🚂
Good morning!
Those photos of the old track in use are great! I'm thinking that short piece of track was left there to eventually hold a caboose or some other historic car, but they never got around to it.
Short train but fab locos! Loud horn too, Lovely part of Ohio this really pretty countryside towns. Ended up being a decent length train JT. The train looked a little wobbly going over the bridge over the Miami River. Fab chase JT. Nice old photos of the railroad & how it use to look. Tom is growing Fast JT! I had a sleepless night last night with Charlie he has got some energy! 😂🐈⬛🐈❤👍
Cool location Jawtooth! Great catches! Sure glad that old B&O line is still in service and not a rail trail too!👍
Thank you very much!
Love the old photos and station footage, great video
Many thanks!
Look up Howell Yard in Evansville Indiana. There are quite a few trains going through that yard . It is in the CSX Henderson Subdivision. You really need to visit us.
Thanks for sharing enjoyed the video I love short trains better than the really long trains
Glad you enjoyed!
Great video as always
Hey jaw tooth awesome catch of train. See they added cars at next video location. Sad to see tracks replaced with bike trails . Glad you have memories when track cross at diamond. How's your mouth feeling?. Have a great railroad day. 😘🙋♀️
thanks for watching! I think it is getting better. I went to the doctor again today
That was a ghost train you had there crossing the bike path😂. Nice little town. Thanks for the video Brian stay well roll on

Brian thank you for another great video. I appreciate the time you put into each of your videos 😊 love hearing your knowledge on the local area not to mention those pics you found great work A+ as always
I appreciate that!
A crossing siren, stuck gates on a pedestrian bike path, cool photos of business gone by and a new kitty!
Howdy-doo one & all..
Good morning Jon!
3 locomotives and 4 cars?, overkill!
I had been concerned for the I&O line lately. Finally saw it on Scott’s video a week or so ago. I’m glad you posted this. Thank you JT. ❤
You're welcome! I will have more from it soon
When I was in first grade, we lived like 3 houses from the old Pennsylvania line that went through Washington CH. It was actually Penn Central before it was eventually shut down.
We have a Midland city in Michigan too... use to drive there many times a year.
Great catches awesome chase and nice video
Thank you very much!
Wow, glad you found those old photos, awesome!
Me too!
Señor Jaws? I kinka liked the trains going through and using their train hornes. When it´s early and I put your videos on and I stay down on the sofé here to watch, they would keep me awake at 6:40 am. Some days ckick, some days feathers, I guess. You can't have everything. And if you did, where would you store it? Gracas por tu videos. RT sends, envía, Colonia Centro Histórico, Puebla, México.
Nothing says 1960s and 1970s like that old, faded color film, JT!!
Thanks for the video. That beeping sounded more like a car alarm to me. It seemed like that train was going awfully fast for a no horn zone and the 4ocking of that last car was a little alarming especially at that speed.
Thanks for watching!
Good morning from Saginaw Michigan. I really enjoy watching your videos. Be safe.
Good morning!
Cool to see Ex BNSF units over there!
nice mate
12:15 great old pics ,wow same spot !

Nice Catch on Ex BNSF Locomotives.

Great video! One week from this Friday is my 48th birthday a shout out would be awesome! ❤
The Amtrak Lakeshore Limited through Springfield MA has anywhere from 1 to 3 engines and 4 cars. Usually it's 2 engines.
Love the video and the shirts
@@tobylou8 thanks 😊

@@JawTooth You're very welcome, Brian.

@@RICKCOPE-q9d thanks for watching!

From beginning to. end. that was the fastest freight train I've ever seen. I've blinked and it was ending.
Thanks for watching!
