This is a dope play expansion. It might not be for everyone because this is more of a future funk lo fi vibe and not your mainstream wavey jazz product. I appreciate your video, because it gave me a sense of what is included. Most people never heard of MXSii, but they are responsible for Damage by H.E.R. This is some cosmic chicken grease type stuff and I will definitely be coping it. If you want to sound like everyone else and are not creative, then don’t get this expansion.
To my taste, this sounds horrible cheap lo fi, not lush lo fi that I like. Sounds like software downsampled sounds that adds that ring metallic sound that hardware samplers doesn’t have. You can do this inside maschine downsampling sounds, if you like it, but sounds horrible to my ears as all software bit/sample rate manipulation including the not even close mpc and sp emulations.
Not every sample pack will be for everyone, but have you checked out some of their other Expansions? You might find one there and they are half price for a limited time. bit.ly/3t7egy6
@@londonsounds6212 It was a sincere question. I'm relatively new at this and have always wondered about the expansions. Every demo uses Maschine. SO if I don't have maschine, and I'm purchasing drift theory, I'm not really buying a plugin or an expansion - I'm just buying a sample pack?
@gordowebb9910 I have a NI Komplete S88, but I use the program kitmaker to make a wav kit for the Native Instruments expansions so they can be used on practically anything.
Thats a hard pass on this one. I didnt hear anything that was interesting and with the new Kontrol MIDI keyboards seeming questionable about Maschine 2 control I'll hold the purse strings.
Thanks for tuning in. You might have better luck with some of the other expansions that are currently discounted for a limited time. Check them out here: bit.ly/3jis3JA

@@DannyBeigal Thank you for the tip. It looks great but I use Reaper which will probably not work well. ANyways, I'm checking it out. Thanks, Gordon
