    "Your money is not yours until you spend it". What a motto. First one gotta earn it. For most people, this will consume their whole lifetime just to get by.

    For some who may think only those who have money can retire n travel, aim for ten countries instead of 100 like yusuf, it is still a beautiful goal to set instead of doing nothing about it. Set goals and go asean first. Then go somewhere further as finance n health allows. He said about his interest is travel. He also mentioned about not to be too attached with work n retired too old. Some of ur interest may not cost as much as his traveling. Campervan pun jadilah😂.. Be positive and set goals.

    Great to finally see the charismatic Yusuf on TEDx!! I was working for Shell Malaysia too for 19 years and finally retired last year, partly under Yusuf’s influence 🤣🤣
    Yusuf once chaired a committee in Shell to investigate the life expectancy of Shell staff who retired at the government-mandated age, the outcome of the internal investigation is probably what opened his mind & heart - that the average Shell retirees lived up to 8 years only after the fact 😢

    • @YusufHashim
      @YusufHashim Рік тому +10

      Yes, that event drove home the inverse corelation between year of retirement and length of life after retirement. The later you retire, the shorter your lifespan after retirement, and thus, the earlier you retire, the longer your lifespan. But that's another story for another time.
