In my opinion Janice did NOT deserve to be fired she did nothing wrong & she was one of great Price is right ladies.. She just did not want to testify that is her rights it's wrong that they fired her just for that reason.. She worked 28 years! & they just fired her like that that is really cruel.. She did great job on Price is right.. Janice still looks great..
Janice Pennington was one of the reasons that I watched the Price is Right when it was on. She was definitely one of my favorite models on the show. I liked Holly as well because she had so many hilarious blooper moments. What I like most about Janice was that even though she was fired from the show after 28 years, she did not hold any grudges against Bob Barker. That shows true character. She's truly an amazing person, and I have a lot of respect for her.

The Price is Right will never,be the same. It's missing the legends that made it what it was. This girl right here, the most beautiful of faces Janice Pennington. None of these young girls will ever hold a candle to her beauty, poise and grace. Her face can never be replaced. Even the set looks way too florescent in colors, and the shows speed moves too fast! The models are robotic and it's literally like the show operates on steriods. No thanks, I'll watch the reruns!

Janice has aged very well. She looks very good for a woman 81 years old. I doubt very much that Dian and Holly are going to give positive thoughts about Bob Barker since most of them were fired by them especially Holly. Janice and Kathleen had far less problems with Bob Barker than Dian and Holly.
Things didn't end well with Janice and Kathleen either! Despite that, her and Anitra Ford were the Original Barker's Beauties and they made the show iconic! I have to include the late Johnny Olson and his patented 'Come on down!'
There is probably still major heat with Holly Dian and Barker, which is why you won't hear from them.The old, if you have nothing nice to say, then don't say it it all cliche. I don't know what Barker's wife looked like. But if you have seen what Dian looked like back in those days, you wouldn't blame him for having an affair. As a man, he was wrong for not owning up to it and then lashing out at everyone and threatening to fire everyone. So I understand why Holly and Dian don't want to talk about it

I saw a documentary and Bob even admitted under oath that he felt Holly had been gaining weight and expected her to take diet pills! Years later she was let go, which led to a lawsuit being filed! His wife died in 1981, and the behind the scenes stuff between those two is said to have occurred in the last few years of that decade, so affair isn’t really the right word when his wife might not have been alive at that point (dipping your pen in company ink might be a better term here as Bob employed Dian technically). Regardless of who’s at fault though, I thank all of them for the many memories (back then, the models added a bit of personality in their own special ways). I hope Bob is enjoying his day wherever he is (RIP to him), and I hope Holly, Dian and all the other models from those years are enjoying their days today (if I ever met any of them I’d happily ask for an autograph). She would have been a child when the show premiered if she were in her 50s. Janice was in her late 20s when the show premiered (29 to be exact), since she was one of the two original Barker's Beauties. She's now 81.
Poor Janice was hit by a camera in the set and had to leave the show because of the scars and her having one shoulder lower than the other after surgery.
Barker always claimed that this wasn't true - he said she was dropped from the show after it got taken over by a third-party production company in 2000; both she and Kathleen Bradley were dropped at the same time and the new company brought in a rotation of no-name models after that. He said that he had no authority to hire or fire anybody by that time and that he was just the host. So who knows.
I think Janice and Kathleen had been there so long they were expensive and aging. Barker says he had no control but I think if he had really wanted them to stay, they would have stayed. So it was probably a budget thing from Freemantle and an aesthetics thing from Barker but it's easier to blame the production company and say "it wasn't my decision." It's true it probably wasn't... but he could have easily stopped it.
I’m sure I read in an article that came out around the time Janice and Kathleen left the show that Janice had always had a love for the game show The Price is Right and always had fond memories of it so she never wanted to talk badly about it. Which makes sense to me because of all the models, Janice was usually the one who stayed out of most of the messiness.

Anitra Ford did pay tribute on social media to Bob when he passed away as did Kathleen Bradley and Kyle Aletter-Oldham.
